SotG just disgraced itself by inviting avilo only to try to make a fool of him. It was a little funny at first, but it got way out of hand and they just appeared to be bullies (not qxc or Nony).

Rofl the sad part was Avilo was the rational one on the show along with QxC, he actually made good points and all Idra could say was, "If you let Zerg get to that point you're just terrible."
Let's rewind the clock a year.
*Mothership and archon toilet is dominating
"Just don't let protoss get to this point because it's GG if you do"
"That's the most retarded thing you can say about this, so it's fine as long as you kill the protoss before he gets a death ball with a mothership?" - Idra

Just another issue for this community, so they can have their nice 1-2 day drama until something else happens.

Apparently. So much hate for SotG. Everyone knew it was coming. Obvious.

It hard as hell getting any kind of context.
This. Avilo at the end was making absolutely no sense and was barely even understanding what Idra was saying. If he was actually giving a decent debate, then maybe i would feel some more sympathy for him. But in the end there, his logic was so flawed and he wasn't even listening to what Idra was saying and just kept repeating "so you agree with me."

This year his results have been bad yes, but he actually has results (which were obviously 8 months or so ago now) but still a lot more results then Avilo. He has a few tournament wins in big lan tournaments that again Avilo doesn't have. The difference between them is quiet big lol.

Bringing Avilo onto the show reminded me of something a group of highschool students would do. Invite some guy they don't like into their circle for a bit just so they can make fun of him and have a laugh about it.
Don't give me "the chat wanted to bring him on". JP didn't have to actually bring him on, all of hosts are more informed than the chat on Avilo's background. Avilo should never have been brought on period, and it could have gone much better than it did.
All in all i feel bad for the guy, he gets invited onto a popular show basically to get shit on.

IdrA being IdrA of course, so, he just shitted on him because he did not want to respond to his arguments rather than just sticking to his arguments that Avilo tried to prove why they are "kind-of" wrong.
The reality is avilo doesn't really know shit.
But then again neither does Idra, nor anyway sitting on that show.

It's moments like this where you see what people are really like, QXC and Nony stayed quiet and respectful while Incontrol was acting like an enabler for Idra shitting on him.
PS: Thanks QXC for coming on the show and making sense, even if you have to hold back.

The ONLY reason that guy was brought on was because JP knew Idra would trash talk him, there was a 0% chance it would be a worthwhile discussion and that was known ahead of time. That's just a fact about the show, if you're watching SOTG for rational balance debate you're very very misplaced.
I thought the IdrA and QXC debate was pretty good. Both were rational and had good responses. But yeah, the Avilo thing was inevitable, and a waste of time, imo.

nice to have qxc on, hes a cool guy and clear headed when it comes to discussing TvZ, leaving his emotions out of it : )

did you really argue that idra has no results?.. REALLY? idra as bad as his slump has been is still one of the most succesful foreigners to date, whereas avilo hasn't done shit

i was quiet and let him finish his point, the moment i started talking he started yelling over me and saying i agreed with him when i quite explicitly didnt. hes a fucking imbecile and has no place in anything serious in the community and jp's a piece of shit for bringing him on the show.

Terrible conversation between Avilo and IdrA. JP shouls have never ever got Avilo on when IdrA was on at the same time. Still find it funny how IdrA refuses to see that Terran has a hard time in general against Zerg.

Painful to watch/listen to in every way possible.
Stop listening to a vocal minority on twitch chat, or if you absolutely have to invite avilo in for entertainment purposes, don't be a fucking beta about it and boot him off mid-sentence because IdrA got massively flustered.
Ugh.
