Bump. This is all true. Incontrol, Idra, and Artosis have been quick in the past to demand imbalance and patches when zerg and protoss suddenly have a hard time. But when it happens to terran, they are called whiny babies for complaining. I guess MVP, MMA, DRG, Supernova, MKP, and Ryung are all incompetant players who dont know what they are talking about when they say the TvZ current is perhaps the most imbalanced match up in SC2's history.

I have actually stated on shows numerous times that balance whining is dumb.. even said it was bad of me to do it. It was wrong during the sad zealot time and it is wrong now.
Want to know the difference? Protoss never went into the Lo3/ITG/SOTG threads and unified their effort to spray the forums with their cat urine. It's gross and pathetic. We mock it because for w/e reason terran players after nearly 2 years of dominating SC2 are MORE mad than the rest of us combined. WOOT!

Re listening to the episode right now and so far all I've heard is a small troll about not adding avilo to the show followed by giving him props on his good showing at wcs..
Then they said that is perhaps too early to completely say the match up is imbalanced, which has been a running theme from many pros especially on sotg even about protoss and zerg back when they had problems.
None if the views expressed on the show were in any way extreme and none really warranted the amount of response in this thread...
Its also a fact that terran has been the most successful race throughout sc2, and that may have been due to imbalance or maps our even player skill, but this is despite all of the nerfs people are quoting.. I agree that the game seemed closer to balanced last patch in tvz and i'm a zerg, however we should also wait until the next patch, and if you manage to get good at tvz now, when it is buffed for terran you'll love the match up!
Blizzard have been very smart about almost all of the changes they have ever made in the game, just give them some respect and time.
For now perhaps we need to add steppes of war to the ladder pool again haha...

It's a fact that ZvT is heavily Zerg favored (no one on SoTG disputed that either).
It's not a fact that it is the "most imbalanced matchup in SC2 history".

You're saying this now even tough it's a given that you're going to be complaining about the state of Protoss in the future. You're just as biased as the rest of us and your opinion is just as worthless, only difference is that you've been given a stage to increase the spread of your cat urine whilst pretending it's fairy dust.

Maybe because the 1-1-1 had nothing to with a patch? It was broken and the immortal buff helped, but it is still a powerful all-in.

My arguement was that even though it was not an issue caused by a patch, it still created a situation where the metagame changed just as suddenly as it has in TvZ. I guess I didn't make that part clear.

So on second thought you still stand by the following:
- The patch hit 1 week before the show.
- The pre-patch TvX winrate was 60%
- Terran never scouts
- Hellions were an auto-win in TvZ
- It's not OK that Terrans can trick Zerg
Because those are the major points I disliked, because they are actually false. I could have lived with the "I don't think Terran has adjusted yet. Try more battle cruisers, it will be fine" even though I disagree. After all I haven't had that much problem with similar statements at prior patches.
Don't worry, the advice is coming from Zerg and Protoss players, what do you expect? I remember Artosis going on and on about how Mech was going to be the next big thing just when EMP got nerfed. It's just a fact that Terran is the weaker race right now, it shows in the win statistics and in the tournament winnings from the past half year outside of Korea and after the last patch it's also showing in Korea. The biggest problem in my opinion is how awfull terrans have been performing outside korea the last half year and nobody gives a damn because Terrans always continued to do well in the GSL. There are less and less Terran players each season on the servers. Terran is the most underrepresented race, everywhere.
Artosis is not even a "player" at least not professionally, He's a caster for cryin out loud and he made some great points about how dumb terrans are who don't scan etc.
