Sometimes JP can't do anything about people getting bad equipment, but there is plenty of room to improve. On the video aspect, i don't care the much on the video production since this show is about people talking starcraft, nonetheless watching it is really fun too, but there is some obvious issues :
- The overlay : JP is sticks with that horrible gradient since they left/split up with MLG. He should just organize some kind of contest on TL/twitter/reddit, i pretty sure that a lot of people will enjoy giving him a nice overlay for his show.
- The webcams : I can live without seing someone's face, but i'm sure that a lot of people are annoyed by these webcams freezing randomly all along the show; well here i cant think of a solution because the problem is clearly due to skype and it will probably stay as it is. Maybe another better webcam-client exists, so if anyone knows...

On the audio aspect the show is running with skype. Yes it's easy to use, you dont have to lost yourself in thousands of setups, but i dont think it's the best tool to use for voice communication. First because at some point during the show someone will always lag like hell and talk like a robot during minutes, and secondly because there is no sound detection feature and push-to-talk option. Seriously i can't stand anymore the constant background noise, dogs barking, mics humming, keyboards being slammed, etc... it's really irritating when you had to hear it during two hours.
The best solution is to switch for another client like mumble or teamspeak, it's not that hard to setup, JP just have to quickly brief everyone before the show, it takes like 15min maximum, set a voice detection or a push to talk and it's perfect !

So basically what i suggest is to keep the skype conference for the webcams and mute everyone, and gather everyone on a private TS/mumble channel for the sound, in order to avoid lags and parasite noises during the show. The only thing i'm not so sure about is how is the delay between skype's webcams and the audio, it could be utterly out of synch. Anyway i really thing it worth a try, for a better show experience.
