Umm am I missing something here? Day is the only strictly "StarCraft" personality on the panel. Sundance heads MLG, which has only recently adopted StarCraft. Alex Garfield has been around in the esports scene outside of StarCraft longer than he has been in it, and Mike Morhaime does a lot of things besides just contribute to the StarCraft world.

Oh gosh, not the "lose all respect" threat. Besides, maybe him bringing up a semi-decent point got other people thinking about it. Not to be too crass, but MIT is kind of like nerd-heaven, and those arguments probably carry more weight than in CU Boulder. I didn't read his actual tweet though. But if that's offensive, it's offensive on its own merits and not because of him wielding too much influence. I think not.

JP, eagerly waiting on the mp3.
Did he say something about when it will come up?

And lets be honest, MIT isnt going to be like, sweet we want Leah, WAIT A MINUTE SOME GUY CALLED JP TWEETED HE DOESNT THINK SHE IS THE BEST FIT, you know what, i think hes right !
Its going to take more than 1 tweet to get her off the board, MIT would consider it seriously before taking action. Whatever influence JP's tweet had (if any at all) it would have simply sparked conversation and then MIT, not JP, were responsible for her removal. I guess the other option is she removed herself, if JP's tweet had something to do with that, i dont blame JP, she just needs to grow some harder skin. A lot of really nice people suffer a lot worse than that on a more regular basis, you got to just toughen up and stick to your guns.

Sorry if I might have been living under a rock, but is there a reason why Leah doesnt stream anymore?

Did he say something about when it will come up? not likely for tonight, well i think that was about the vod, xsplit crashed multiple times so he cant get it done very quickly, he will have to DL the twitch vods then format it, im not sure how he gets the MP3, but that might be up sooner? the vod is currently avaiable on twitch.tv/stateofthegame until the official vod goes up.

Since it's no longer streamed using mlg, can't we just use twitch vods?
EDIT: 4 posts above me -.- Ah well cool that we can just use twitch now, makes live a lot easier.

EDIT: 4 posts above me -.- Ah well cool that we can just use twitch now, makes live a lot easier. dont get used to it on twitch. JP has a lot of editing to do for this episode cause of some technical difficulties during the broadcast and didnt feel like doing it tonight so he just allowed twitch vods for this episode.

The thing that disappoints me about the PPV discussion is that very few people seem to be speaking about it from the point of view of viewers outside America. In EU timezones it's often not a full weekend of content (occasionally people need to sleep, and evenings at the weekend tend to be busier than times during the day), so then $20 suddenly seems significantly more. I appreciate that SOTG is usually an American/Korean (Artosis) show in terms of guests, concerns etc., but it would be nice if someone at least pointed out that consideration.

I am watching the Twitch Vods and I like it. Good show so far, iNcontroL is just too hilarious.

ETA: Ack, double post instead of edit! Del. please

Barely anyone can fit in that list, hell, im struggling to think of anyone. What's this for? The show cut out for me so I totally missed what they were talking about. This panel. http://www.sloansportsconference.com/?page_id=460 Leah is not listed anymore?
that was fast...

has the video been uploaded yet?

the vods on twitchtv are missing major parts for some reason I went through the whole thing and there are cut offs after each vod.

Yeah. The col pick-ups got cut off. Not sure if we really missed something between first and second since they picked up the subject when JP was back.
