So the same standard should not be held for all players, only players being broadcast? Or was that not part of the argument you were making? Should there be a special set of rules for broadcast matches and other rules for games not played live. What about games that are going to be show from replays? Also, I would prefer if you did not attempt to feed me any food, spoon or otherwise.
THis is the massive issue I have wiht this entire situation. Instead of just letting this kind of bullshit match be allowed, people are now forced to draw arbitrary lines on whats acceptable or not, not just on one topic, but like 6 or 7. The entire situation gets bogged down wtih creating arbitrary bullshit rules on how much effort you have to give, or how you have to present certain things, or how much you have to fake it. THe simplist solution is to not force regulate something that doesn't require regulation.
i.e. if conceeding matches or other things are allowed, then you wouldn't need to decide whether its only for broadcasted people or not, rules would be applicable to everyone reguardless of what their opinion on it was.

wasn't able to catch the show last night and kind of don't want to go through this thread but did the viewers go over 40k? :o

You guys are terrible drunks, you just continued to act the same as you always do. You should be ashamed of yourselves for your (lack of) bad behavior .

Nope, think it peaked around 28k.

IDK Geoff doesn't usually describe gay sex with Day9 when he is sober.
Don't forget Geoff, Tyler and JP started "pre-gaming" like an hour and a half before the show started. LoL

So I know you guys were drunk and all but I didn't feel the spectator view of the Naniwa probe rush was shown. Yes, as a spectator I want to be entertained, but I come to SC2 to experience genuine struggle and competition at the highest level in video games. I don't want to feel like I'm being serviced, I could watch WWE for that. If something doesn't count, screw it. Don't try and fool me by "showing the best games" Fuck that, if I want to see worthless hilariously entertaining games I will watch Funday Monday(and do).
Maybe I've been naive and the faux trying games happen more often than I realize and that might be my fault for not being one of the top SC2 players, but if I start thinking games aren't real, or rigged or whatever I'm not gonna watch, even if I really love the personalities in the scene.
What Naniwa did for me as a spectator was show respect. Sorry the sponsors didn't get their ad space, but without me to watch their ad space is worthless.
I'm troubled that I've not heard this point of view, but I haven't read every word either.
TLDR: Some people don't like being snow jobbed.

This episode was crazzzzy... But the end was kind of boring and way to awkward... everything has to come to an end i guess. STILL BEST EPISODE EVER lots of great moments in one of the best shows on the internet.

You're not the only one who thinks this. Definitely seen others compare the "entertainment" aspect to fake wrestling.

Or, unlike Naniwa, he doesn't mind giving a more "professional" version.

The problem was that the questiom is Day9 JP and tyler... Not artosis... but they were drunk so no problem :D i <3 this show :D

Thanks for another great year of State of the Game Tyler, Artosis, Day9, Incontrol and especially JP. Happy holidays for all of you!

That was so fucking hilarious! Even the second time around I laughed hysterically... Geoff's was funny as he usually always is, but what I found to be really funny also was when she had to pick who to kill.
Caller: "Well... Since Artosis isn't here..." Geoff: "Exactly."
That was so perfect it made me cry of laughter! Lol.

Thank you for entertaining me every Tuesday night much appreciated
