I am happy that there are improvements, at least the video is not split in 6 parts now, but 12 hours is not that fast...why suddenly everyone forgetting the fact that a random guy did it in 1/10 of the time that took mlg? and this is actually downloadable.....
and, the point i made before, if anything all this mess will just make MLG work better You do realise that most of those 12 hours are at night? Thats when JP is sleeping. Unless you would like him to stay up late compiling video for you after hosting the show. Seriously, 12 hours, your worse than my clients. They at least give us 24 hour to fill their unreasonable requests. You know that JP doesnt upload the show, right? Besides that, was talking about the fact that Justin.tv does it instantly, and by itself, and that is how sotg worked for almost a year, untill it got founded by a major corporation, does that make any sense? You clearly do not know how Justin.tv or video compiling works. If you did, you would understand why the streaming service has no issues recording the stream and why it can be up instantly. However, that does not put it on MLGs servers where they host the video from. They likely need to download it or re-record it, compile a version compatable with their player and make it go. But, hey, if you want it for free, someone stole JPs work, so go get it. I'll just wait for the VOD and make sure I support them.
I already support by paying ther membership, thanks

Glad they talked about the prize-money issue, even though it has been known for a many years. But i'm actually somewhat surprised that JustinTV is having "problems" paying people. (to Idra at least) And IMO they should be doing better job especially if this is fairly common. Streaming is pretty much the job they do when they aren't playing in tournaments, so getting the money owed months late must be frustrating, not to mention when someone who doesn't have a big salary or salary at all.
I wonder if Destiny has had similar situations. Isn't streaming his job(almost all of his income) pretty much?

but i usually dont like suggol (스꼴, extreme scbw elitists) people and that seems to be what he is, at least in that thread he made, which is surprising to me since he was a vocal part of the sc2 community for such a long time.
idra and destiny seemed to make good points too

Idra, Destiny, Incontrol, Tyler and Day9 make the ultimate combo... JP hosting (hearding) them all would be so great

yeah i'm real interested if destiny has twitch tv money problems. when i heard idra barely gets paid i was blown away.

I think I'd prefer Idra, Destiny, Artosis, Tyler and Day9 hosted by iNControl: JP whispering in Geoff's ear for sure.

Just to squash debate, this was posted in the Reddit SotG thread. Doesn't need to be discussed further

Thank you so much for showing support for the show. It’s awesome to see this from the community and I apologize for not being able to get it out as fast as you did. A little background: the reason I was hired at MLG was largely due to SotG (thank you community, again) and its views. While there are some delays with the VODs, I'd personally request that you still watch via the MLG.tv player rather than via a download. The reason we can continue to make the show free and improve the production is due directly to the support from MLG. I want to make absolutely sure the show can always remain free and community driven.
I thought that last night I was able to get it out there faster than normal but there were obviously people much faster. The reason we can continue to make the show free and continue to improve it is because of the support from MLG. If you want to share how you were able to capture it so quickly I'd love to know. I'm always looking for ways to make the experience better for you guys. Again, thank you guys so much for supporting the show and we hope to continue to improve it as well as the VOD viewing experience in the future.

Thanks JP, remember, that people only complain because they care .

These 5 + JP should be the main team. Love the addition of Destiny.

Pretty clear confirmation from JP there that the pirating could be very damaging to the show (even if he said it in the most polite way possible). I guess that eliminates the pirates' "MLG is rich/it was free anyway" excuses, but now they will probably fall back on the "we showed them how to do it right" excuse. Thing is it only took MLG 12 hours and it's not at all reasonable to run the risk of pirating merely to pressure them into doing it faster than 12 hours. If you can't wait 12 hours then you have a major patience problem.

Good show, my only issue was that InControl's mic was of lower quality than JP's (to be expected considering that the production house is where JP is), but I appreciate you guys doing your best to mute Idra's mic to avoid echo etc.
Thanks.

Thanks JP! I feel slightly guilty for listening to the show in MP3 format, since you can't run commercials due to Apples terms of service. If there is another way to get the MP3 that MLG trace and make some money off of, let us know where it is.

Just wanted to say that Incontrol did an awesome job hosting the show!
