By "small amounts of mutas" you mean "an equal number of mutas"

And why do people feel like toss should have an easy way to hold off 30-40 mutas. That is a 4000/4000 army there, not exactly cheap or easy getting up to that number of mutalisks.


How is this not obvious?
Because Blizzard doesn't 1 unit to be spammed into oblivion that can win the game on it's own.
They either had to nerf the harass capabilities of the unit or give other races better options to deal with them a.k.a wardog or w/e and the tempest.


Muta flocks are OP and need to be nerfed but mass blink stalkers and mass marines are OK?

Both show up constantly vs Zerg.

Give me my unit that can counter 30+ stalkers with minimal investment.




Lings with Infestors to fungal, half cost, twice the damage, moving on.

There is also some kind of stun when the units are recalled - they can't attack/move for a bit. Recalling army for defence will not work as well as they think.

I think a ~5-10 second recall casting time would be nice.

So you can't instantly recall all of your army from any situation without losing anything.

The Arc shield only does photon cannon level damage to light units, it won't defend against marauder drops or roaches, for example. It also buffs the building shields, but the cannons only do 5 damage against non-light.

It's not good for lategame defense.

For the Nexus Recall, think about this:

keep the current 15-20 unit radius (maybe make it an upgrade from the twilight council or something). In pvz you blink further and further in the zerg base, sniping hatcheries, blinking down cliffs etc (and currently on most maps, you can't really get back to safety while still doing maximum damage) and then Mass Recalling your stalkers back

I could see, with some tweaking, it being a really fun way for me to ACTUALLY do some high apm, small unit harass that protoss DOES LACK. we really lack (i haven't been playing recently so haven't tried out the new warp prism much) the ability to just kill hatcheries and do REAL damage to a zerg like a terran might with constant marine drops picking of hatches queens and drones. the ability to do this with your blink stalkers and not lose EVERY SINGLE one of them like i would if i did it now (eventually getting caught in a corner with no cooldown, or fungalled)

I like it for this reason at least. again i think it should a) require an upgrade to activate. and b) have a slightly smaller radius so it's definitely for small unit harass and not for whole army warping that would obviously be overpowered for map control and base trades
