The big SC2 figures in Europe quite frankly doesn't speak English well enough to be running a pod cast and making it popular. This is an issue for the scene in general, we got smaller, and thriving, national communities(German, Russian, French etc.) but not one covering the entire continent.
Why do you think a vast majority of shows in SC2 that have gotten popular, such as D9Daily, WoC, KoT, SotG, Lo3 and whatnot, are made in the US? Because they speak the language and got an active community. All European countries got one but lack the other.

Of course, I just say the the basic foundations are required. Speaking the language fluently is one of those.

Why do you care so much about who is EU and who is NA ? I can understand that people are making a distinction between korean and non-korean. But for EU/NA it's pretty stupid if you ask me.

I thought Geoff and Tyler were poking fun at the people who say they never talk about European players/tournaments. Seemed funny to me but I am an American too.
We did just learn in my child psychology course that young children have a problem understanding sarcasm, metaphors, etc. Possibly whats happening here?

I am very much pro-European when it comes to SC2, and there was nothing particularly inflammatory about their jokes - and poking fun was kinda deserved especially after the whole Lucifron hype, who really is nowhere near a top tier player in Europe either. -_-

I would be surprised that people are still calling basic trolling of the Europeans racist, but there was a guy on one of Day9's Funday Monday VODs that called his obviously-fake-joking-German accent racist. After that, you can't really be surprised by how fast someone breaks out "racist" and "unprofessional" and "lost respect" in this community.
Also, SC nostalgia is awesome.
One point of contention though. Incontrol and Tyler should really be more on the ball with the US tournaments. Watching a lot of EU tournaments is no excuse. We have some really good players over here too! Trololololololololololololololololololololol
