Asia in general doesn't seem to be very interested in SC2 (I could be wrong though!). You know, the OSL getting a lot of views is awesome! It's great! But what REAL effect does it have on SC2? Does it change the patch notes? Does it convince more players to retire and switch over? Does it convince more Koreans to watch SC2? I mean, if they do talk about jangBANG and terroristterran I'll probably enjoy the discussion and all, but I don't think that it's appropriate considering it's about the state of the game, SC2. (I DON'T PRODUCE THE SHOW THOUGH SO THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT!)

I for one would love to see your casual SC2 fan/player be introduced the beauty that is BW, what just happened over the weekend, etc.. Maybe that can give people a different perspective on our beloved SC2.

I think this is an interesting topic because it's proof that there's money in the community that wants to get out to make the industry better. There's a bit of failure on the business side of things to properly get things rolling. Fans' money and attention could be used more efficiently to make a better product for them to enjoy and to put money/benefits in the pockets of people who deserve it (like MKP). As it is, fans have to resort to deciding for themselves and giving the money directly haha. Which is awesome, it really shows the passion and support of our community, but hopefully the industry can find a way to use business and economics to automate this process efficiently.

Yup, the money is definitely here in the community to support influential players/casters in SC2 ie Sons of Starcraft, MKP to MLG. Hopefully we can see business' utilize it better in the future. Will be looking forward to the show tonight, as always. ![]()

A BW discussion would definitely be appropriate and I would very much like to listen to what Artosis' opinion on the state of the e-sports scene in Korea.
