as far as the big engagements are concerned, i've seen protoss deal with it exceptionally well. Either it goes great for the zerg or it goes terribly. Either the protoss lays great force fields and executes the blinks well or they don't. It's like the swing dynamic Day was talking about in the episode. you can engage well and clean up a bunch of overlords to boot, or you can get completely annihilated.

the big baneling play is also pretty vulnerable if there are a sprinkle of void rays in the mix, I've found, because they're invariably going to get charged up (the style is usually completely lacking anti-air, save infested terrans that don't bode well against colossus), and probably end up being cost efficient with clean up. obviously everything is situational, and you're not always going to have the stargate play to work with, but it's definitely something to consider i think.

once again, it isn't as if your claim is invalid--you're the pro, I'm the forum poster, it's not as if I could stand on even footing even if i were a staple in the community--but I don't think it can be stamped overpowered. Even if it were, nerfing overlords, as you mentioned, albeit off the cuff, doesn't seem like it'd ever be the right fix.
