JP is the mediator and NonY is like the silent bob of SOTG. He'll go 20 minutes without saying a thing then chip in with something really insightful near the end of a discussion. They complain about game balance but they can't even balance their podcast. Sheesh!

I love incontrol though don't get it twisted, he holds it down pretty much solo lately in the podcasts, he's great people. JP however annoys me and I'm sure he'll move on to the next big game when it comes out as he seems like that kind of guy. That may be a little rude to say I guess but I feel as if I just had to express that. Dude, that is rude. Without JP the show wouldn't even happen. I'm sure all the hosts and guests are nice but considering they're all donating their time it must be like herding cats. And if if another big game does come a long I think he can handle more than one podcast. I gots yo bak JP. I gots ya.

There's territory, power, influence, "build" sequences, skipping defense, base races and trades etc. even micro(tesuji). IMO it's the game to go, if you want to improve your strategic mind. Starcraft is like speed Chess, that can be played on one of many assorted boards which are all different sizes and shapes, and occasionally have weird obstructions like paperweights that block some of the spaces. The player controls one of three different sets of peices, each with their own unique abilities and limitations, and these pieces can be purchased in exchange for a loose change, which are collected by players on various locations of the board. This is difficult to manage, considering you can only perform one action at a time. Thankfully, unlike Chess, the game is not turn based. The person that moves the most stuff around the board the fastest usually wins. Man, this game is retarded.

![]() I wonder what Incontrol's wife thinks about him possibly moving to Korea. From what he's said, she sounds really supportive of him, but that's a huge step.

Starcraft is also about multitasking. There is no multitasking in Chess. Starcraft is also about unit composition and countering the opponent's composition. There is no unit composition in Chess. Starcraft is about stutter step, unit surrounds, forcefields, storm dodging. There is no micro in Chess. Chess is about anticipating your opponent's moves and countering them. There is a little of that in Starcraft. I wouldn't really consider Chess that similar to Starcraft. Chess is a thinking game. Starcraft is more of a sport. And that makes Starcraft far superior than Chess to watch. I would consider Starcraft more similar to Football or Soccer than Chess.
