I'm not that sure. Imo Demuslim ( war 3 ) is just not as good with Z ( the only race with true bw style macro ) than Dimaga is with Terran. It could be a matter of play style.

The thing is that Zerg and Protoss just arent finished yet. More polishing was put to Terran, thats why they seem so good. Z and P can be just as good but Blizzard needs to polish them a bit more.
I mean Zerg doesnt even have a Tier 3 unit that can shoot air.
And Protoss...one word, Mothership

If you look at their game history, Demuslim (Z) beat Dimaga (T) 7-4 yesterday night.
So who cares.

I tend to agree with this. (I play Zerg.) Terran just seem to have such well rounded capabilities that give them a plethora of choices and options throughout the stages of the game.
It may be that some of the T stats should be nerfed, but the main problem for Zerg now is that we just seem so limited in options at so many times, and after neural parazite was nerfed i think that last trumph we had is gone.
Also: Much of the problems with balance atm just comes from the maps.

Didn't see the first game but Sjow just played horribly in the second. I think by the time his 5th helion had died (and the first 3 of those were due to him not paying attention) he'd killed 0 drones and maybe 5 lings. After that he built 2 armories and then bio pushed against mass bling and got destroyed.

good for dimaga. Progamers are subject to the whims of, in this case, Blizzard, and have to maximize their wins.

I feel that not only does Zerg have to be aware of the standard Terran pushes be it mech or bio. Zerg is just so vulnerable to cheesy strategies. Early harass into banshees is just so strong in general. It's ridiculous just how early you can get banshees while putting all that pressure on zerg at the same time. Meanwhile, Zerg has very weak early harass against Terran so Terran can pretty much dictate the pace of the game and be super cost efficient.

I hope that something is announced so that Demuslim will continue to play as Zerg. It kills me to see players switch races due to imbalances, whether or not they are true. Hopefully something is addressed.
I think IdrA has a really good feeling on why you should stick with your race, a buff or nerf will happen eventually.. don't lose your roots.

Dimaga just lost a game vs HuK where he was up 4base to 2base, a ZvP. He threw away ultras and hydras against a immo/stalker/ht army over and over.
Next game he goes hydras/ling vs collosi..
But I guess he knows what hes doing in ZvT, right?

It's not like he's a top-tier pro. If he needs to switch to FOTM race, it just proves what we all already know... that he's just a B-teamer.

not making a balance statement, but i love some of these replies. First people yell if you think one race is too strong, switch to it. Now when a famous player is about to switch his race, people say switching races doesn't mean anything... wtf

if Jinro is talking about ladder or CG games, Idra is right, that is not something you can look at. Players experiment/try new things or can conceal their strategies when games do not matter
