Leave me alone please.
Remember kids, game balance takes years. Not days, weeks, months, but YEARS.
We still aren't even seeing a cut throat pro league level of competition yet. Give it time.

Well I understand why he feels this way what with the concept of doing his best for his sponsor's,team and whatnot I am kinda confused. Is he being threatened that if he doesn't start winning he'll be fired or dropped? If so, shame on those guys for being far too quick to dismantle an excellent player.
I don't approve of switching like this even more so to make it a huge thing that seems a tad too dramatic for my tastes however if he really wants to do it I hope he does well. Though it does seem kinda a 'grass is greener' situation.
I don't want quick patches I want smart patches so yeah I am not going to comment much on the T v Z situation except to remind people that at one point everyone considered Terran to be the weakest race and easy to deal with. You shouldn't be so quick to throw away a race just because of rough times but again if it's either switch or risk his job I understand why he feels he needs to do this.

maybe they nerf too much or not enough or cause imbas all over the place in other matchups
Nah, the game was ready for release when they released it. It's reasonably-well balanced at most skill levels. That said, I don't think anyone who has really been paying attention is particularly surprised that there are problems with terran and zerg right now. Zerg is definitely the least-polished of the races and was undergoing major changes well-into the beta. Terran has been the strongest race ever since Blizzard made the bio upgrades ridiculously easy to get. Quite frankly, I'm very surprised that Blizzard didn't do something at the end of the beta to tone things down a bit.

wow this is a big news! thx!

i get it that the Zerg is SC2 are bs and i think their mid tier units are the saddest joke of all but im really saddened by the moves and hate.....im rusty on starcraft.....only really got back into it after years when SC2 came out but this really is a shame....and all i saw blizz do to zerg in beta is nerf nerf nerf nerf
but i love zerg and really enjoy watching them more than any other race.....especially pro play obviously....dimaga was one of my favs to watch also ....atleast i still have idra (love how he tells it like it is and stuff) but dude this sucks.

Thank god Dimaga is right! Blizzard have really messed up Zerg!

Yeah, that's basically what I'm thinking as well.
I played a bit of random early in the beta, and I have no issues with changing if Blizzard can't get their act together. I still love Zerg, though. It was my race in SC and BW, and I've never even considered playing anything else before now, but it cuts into the level of fun you have playing SC2 when you go "great, T, I hope he's a scrub" whenever you get paired up with a Terran. It's not supposed to be like that. It's not supposed to be frustrating before you even start the game.
When the game is where it should be, you should be entering every match hoping the other guy is a challenge.
They don't have to fix it the first balance patch, I just want some sign from Blizzard saying that they understand the problem. Because if they really think ZvT is fine as is, why even bother continuing with Z? It's only getting worse, more people are learning to abuse TvZ every day.

people actually already rely on the money they can earn from SC2? like he has to switch or else he'll be busto if he keeps losing? some weird life decisions o_o
|
As said before, i think that a large portion of the said "imbalance" of zerg can be attributed to the map imbalanced in the current map pool by blizzard. As broodwar showed us, maps alone can influence the balance of matchups and the play style of starcraft. I hold hope.

Wow, that is crazy. Nice to see a player outside of Korea to make a living off playing a game.

I don't care to read the thread, because I am ignorant as it comes but if Blizzard released the TvZ win ratio between then we will have a discussion. From what I have seen from streams and casted games, it seems that terran has the upper hand.

well you cant really compare income standarts of ukraine to what you would think is decent as a US citizen (or german, french,uk etc). still its really nice for them that it works so well.
on the balance blabla i still think that most zergs play horribly one dimensional. but ya maps fuck zerg over. but dont really like people giving up that fast.

I really don't care whether or not someone wants to switch. Do it as long as it doesn't mess with tournament rules.
