So lets say DIMAGA practices Terran for the next 6 months, and then Terran gets nerfed. Where is he then? Playing a race because of balance in a game environment where it's going to change monthly is ridiculous. He is probably hoping blizzard will improve balance and not shift the balance too far one side or another, but who knows how long it will take blizzard to change the game, they are pretty stubborn with some things. | ||

I think this is more of fixing zerg early game, maybe a few design tweaks as well, giving them fair options vs terran. | ||

Honestly, I can't see any logic whatsoever with his decision. If T gets nerfed will he switch to the next FOTM? IdrA is doing surprisingly well considering how underpowered zerg are, and even if they have their problems he's going way overboard. Going for one base all ins in tournaments and.. meh. | ||

Even if that did happen and he decides to switch back to his beloved zerg, its not like all his playing time with terran would be wasted. It is still playing time none the less and you get to understand the terran perspective that much more. It would improve his ZvT immensely. | ||

I can understand his frustration especially since it is his job as he says and I hope that there are some changes to affect the balance a little in that particular matchup. | ||

even though this would be a great fuck you! to blizzard, there should be someone else. Dimaga is my nr 1. favorite player right now, i couldnt bare the thought he'd betray the only true race and switch to that *insert random insults on terran playstyle and lack of skill requirements and questionable sexual orientations of their users* race | ||

I don't believe the balance will change and if it does there is no certainty that Blizzard will nerf Terran or buff Zerg. Blizzard had plenty of opportunities in the beta to nerf Terran and they chose instead to buff Terran EVEN MORE. If you look at the Trends the next patch will most likely buff Terran again in some fashion and nerf Protoss and Zerg. | ||
