He already said that he isn't switching and that zerg for life.

I'm struggling in high plat/low diamond with my Zerg (my main race since forever) with a 55%ish win/loss ratio. Played Terran the other night (with almost no experience of them) and was crushing diamond players. Won like 9 games in a row before I went to bed. It really is a little disheartening. It really does make you want to switch races. I'm sure Dimaga and other Zergs have just experienced something similar: you want to stick to "your race", but the fact is you're winning more games, easier and faster, with your off-race! Think all the Zergs are just holding out for the patch.

Think all the Zergs are just holding out for the patch. This has to do with the fact that Terran is just more zergy than Zerg right now. More build options, better map control, more mobile units, easier time expanding and holding expos, cheaper units. About the only places Zerg maintains their zerginess is powering drones and tech switching, but between MULEs and swappable add-ons, its not like Terran is very far behind in these areas.

Im not saying "zomg T is imba", but the fact is with these good players who can easily quickly not make too many mistakes switching from Z to T, the idea is certainly appealing when you winning so many more games.

Idra and Dimaga are winning some amazing games, but they have to start each and every one by fighting off reapers, hellions, or banshees (or some mix thereof). I can't think of one game where the Z player was the first to apply pressure at the other player's main. I can't disagree with that in the slightest. Terran seems to have the early pressure without any doubt.

Why the fuck dig this thread up? As i said when in this thread when it came around the first time, he was never going to change, if he wanted to really change he would not have announced it like that. It was pretty obvious he was not going to change. He is a pretty cool guy but he needs to really stop getting influenced by the community and get back to the drawing board.

I was a terran player in BW and I can say I am happy with the changes, they finally made a balanced game as opposed to an imba game like BW. The problem with terran in BW was that terran couldnt freely move its army, like a protoss or a zerg player could do. This was the main imbalance in my view, it was a meta game issue, not necessarily related to unit damage. in SC2 they fixed that with the marauder, a much needed unit that now gives the terran the ability to move out without having mines in place and turrets up. I think alot of the whining comes from protoss and zerg players who wanted to continue to beat up on the weaker terran race. They are upset because they no longer have an easy target that they can just go proxy DT every 1/3.5 games and get a free win. Not sure why Zerg are whining, but I think for similar reasons, they want their muta stack back. zerg and protoss are not very creative races, they just want to get their mutas or their DT's out and end the game then. I think thats why a majority of them are struggling because instead of watching their replays and thinking, what can I do better, or what is a good counter to this strategy, they come on the forums and wonder about when the "balancing" is going to take place. the balancing has already taken place, it was called beta. If you look @ who the top players are, I know the korean zergs are absolutely crushing. the #1 player American player is Huk, a protoss. The next 2 top players are both non-terrans, Slush, whos a zerg, and TT1, a protoss. you dont even have a single terran in the top 3. Most of the people crying for terran to be nerfed, you need to have your patience pants on. there is no need for a patch, and the game is balanced. so BW is imbalanced? LOL #1 Korean Zergs are absolutley crushing? I can see only one in the GSL Ro8. LOL #2 "zerg and protoss are not very creative races, they just want to get their mutas or their DT" Yeah right. I see so many DTs in all games. LOL #3 And mutas? Well if a race has to go one unit all the time (which is incorrect in the first place) it only tells me, that it lacks other viable options.
