I was sitting at home tonight and decided to drop some hot fire. The result is the new single Terran's OP! Mediafire link is below and lyrics below that.
Yeah, I'm loving Starcraft 2, but I'm sick of Teran. So I thought I'd drop this little song to set the record straight. Lyrics below.
Chorus ++++++ Ask the Toss in this motherfucker Terran’s OP. Terran’s OP. Terran’s OP. Ask the Zerg in this motherfucker Terran’s OP. Terran’s OP. Terran’s OP. x2
yeah i think terran’s op, bitch i said it everybody here knows its true so just admit
dont try to make it my fault, say that i aint got skill, you shouldn't have to be a pro to beat got damn build
tell me why the fuck i need to tech to t2+ just to beat a fuckin 3 rax t1 push
I gotta make foe (4) buildings just to get HT’s you dodge my psi storm but I can’t dodge yo EMPs
little bitches do what you want while i got to pull out my hair tryna figure out how you techin you know even you hate the mirror
gotta have the best ground to ground gotta have the best air to air gotta have the least set of skills to get into diamond oh yeah
i think its funny you pussies go-and-hide behind big walls lookin at these little dick bitches tryna-go and make big balls [editor: bio balls] What Terran needs is a nerf and-i-think-that zerg needs a buff but i rep the protoss forever so tho yo toss hands up
++++++ Chorus ++++++
You know you OP. Just don’t be. So damn gay. Sendin shouts out to g-n-the-i-a to the L for the fast build to void ray Hail the king of the beta i-d-the-r-a cuz he speak truth, he re-fuse to not say that the T-race is i-m-the-b-a up in sc2 one race is too gay so if your race starts with T guess what you play?
++++++ Chorus ++++++
Rob Hustle all up in this. Terran's, I'm putting you on notice. You're OP. Fuck h-to the usky husky. You sound like a d-to the umbass, dumbass Day 9 for life. Special shouts out to TeamLiquid.Net Yeah.
As much as I hate terran, I don't think it deserves this rap. And whats up with the husky hatin' man? Hes a protoss! Zerg and protoss go hand in hand against the terran threat .
And really, have you seen a terran without a wall? Its like a fat kid just fell off of his chair and can't get up. Its quite the pathetic thing to watch.
Sick editing and production quality. Not really my style and I had low expectations from reading the lyrics first, but you made it work really well. Nice job ^^
I have to admit just looking at the lyrics I thought this was going to be awful. Not a fan of the gangster stuff but this made me laugh, really well done hahaha ^^
pretty damn good job. i thought this would be horrible just from the title ^^
But whats with the attitude? We are a bunch of fecking nerds.. the whole gangsta thing feels kinda stupid. Also yes, we get it. Husky isn't pro enough for you. Can people get over that already?
The production quality is good, and you manage to pull it off the song without sounding awful like 99% of the other songs posted here, but none of that saves this from being a glorified whine thread.
I had to register after being a lurker for years just to give props for this. Awesome production and ignore the haters, cant have a gangster rap without some trashtalking . Somehow the name Rob hustle sounds familiar too me also.. but cant recall from where.

+1
Even if many people don't agree to the message of the lyrics they have to agree that it is a good production. I for one think the Husky diss was a clever one even if I love what Husky is doing for the community.

Yet another "Terran = imba" troll thread. Is that all the SC2 General forum is these days?
Most Terrans admit that the race we play is OP. We're waiting for a patch just like you are. A lot of players have been playing Terran since the start of the beta when they were the weakest.
Even Protoss players are jumping on the Terran OP bandwagon now? TvP is balanced. Only Zergs have the right to complain about it.

not true at all. Just because some of the mainstream terrible rappers do this , doesn't mean rap/hip hop is about shit-talking

Thank you. Not to derail this clearly constructive thread but chrisSquire's post was completely false and borderline retarded.
I didn't like the song but I guess I admire the effort you put into it. And what's so bad about Husky?

I don't understand why I get warned for making a reasonable non-aggressive opinionated post when the OP gets away with calling out and cursing Husky, consistent swearing and a generic "Terran imba" theme which is already flooding the general forum. This is welcome yet I'm on thin ice?
And, no, I'm not backdoor moderating. I'm trying to make a point which I hope you understand. I love TL and I'm just concerned with its current state.
I thought this rap was pretty decent even though I play Terran haha. Good to finally hear one of these where the person actually has a decent voice, normally they just make me cringe.

Balance matters at all levels. No newbies will continue playing the game if race X wins 100% of all its matches against race Y.
I think you take the lyrics to serious. This is kind of the antipole of the "Zerg tears"-thread, a thread which shouldn't be taken too serious or developed into a balance discussion.

You are trolling the OP, which is making his opinion public - don't go hating on a rap speaking the truth.
To the OP - We want MOARW!!!! Also, man I'm glad someone had the ballz to say it. It's like we can't voice our opinion about Terran's being OP without getting flamed to ashes. It's like the giant gray elephant in the room that everyone knows is there but no one wants to talk about and you're talking about it! I commend you.

How is it considered the truth, its an opinion, check definition. The guy attacked certain people and I'd rather post a defense here than create an entire new thread. Also it wasn't trolling btw.
Gosh what's so great about this? The lyrics really are bad. 70% "terran's OP". At least make the Protoss sound like a Protoss :/
And really calling out Husky yeh... your choice. But then even praising Day9 just to get some appreciation because everyone likes him. Nah, unnecessary.
Awesome rap mate! Even people who aren't into rap just have to admit that the mixing quality, sound and the rap itself are really well done... or they are just jealous
I'll be playing this song the rest of the weekend And for all who take it too seriously... just don't..

Lol, 50% of the SC2 forum on TL is about Terran being OP. Its the other way around. A Terran cant say shit without being flamed to ashes. Everybody hates Terran! and says how OP they are. And whenever a P gets in to Diamond using 4 gate rush its okey.
(not saying Terran isn´t OP, but not as OP as everybody thinks they are. I´ts being pushed way out of proportion IMO)
great song :D Soon we will watch in on MTV :D I realy didn't expect this to be so good quality, realy this is real music and not just joke music... waiting for more SC2 songs :D
Some of the lines were good but I think it could have used a little more thought/work. But the production quality was fuckin amazing. Great job and I hope you make some more songs in the future.
Edit: some of you raging about what he says in his song? Well make your own rap. This is a "rap battle" after all.
The ending was so stupid and contradictory to the song as Day9 is the one who is saying that there is no such thing as imbalance and Husky subtly complains about Terran OP.

i guess people have too much time while waiting for the patch which is inc within ~3 weeks, name calling was really bad got surprised by the quality tho gj on that
D to umbass to the dumbass lol. Priceless. I agree with everything u just said. I think toss and zerg need to gather together to beat terran. Only fun matchup I play is zvp. zvz is too random with bling. zvt is imba as hell. And I really liked the song, very nice

why can't we make fun of husky, it's not like we hate him. it's just for fun lol
awesome song lmao some of the lyrics are actually really clever.
i don't get these people, i've played terran since BW and i play terran and zerg in sc2. so am i supposed to just stop playing terran because they are very strong right now or something? that doesnt make any sense. as the term goes don't hate the player hate the game. calling us gay is just pathetically sad. it's like us terrans are supposed to play bellow our level or are supposed to justs top playing because a bunch of newbs can't win. this is racism i say.
HAHAHA this is awesome!! Anyone that doesn't like this obviously fails to understand the concept of comedy!!
Great work! I'm glad to see we got creativity from the Hip-Hop scene holdin SC2 down, proof that people besides n3rds play lol!!!
If you make a remix lemme kno ma nigga!

Don't take it as a personal assault on your race preference or you for playing as Terran. Think of it more as a comedic relief to all this OP banter lol "The Roast of Terran"
Just enjoy it for its simple entertainment value, lots of people get made fun of or ragged on and they understand that its all in fun.
The amount of zerg and protoss hybrid tears in this is insanely refined! :O must collect more. Anyhow gj with the song, either way, FOTM will live on forever in games if they continually get changed, so heres to the community and its attempt to trump the terran's power.

Someone should publish it on Battle.net through a map. Also streamers play it sometimes please. (: I'd be happy if Husky actually features it too, to show that the bitch-phrases in the end are just funny. Also this legitimates new slangs: ?uxxxx -> ?-to the uxxxx, ?uxxxx + Show Spoiler +
h-to the usky husky d-to the umbass, dumbass c-to the unt, cunt .. etc
Well done. People taking this seriously (e.g Either "standing up" for husky, or saying "LOl maybe you should learn to play) Are rendokulus. I am sure husky will love this.
the song was great and better than most starcraft songs. don't see why all the nerd rage is necessary over the darn lyrics though. props to OP, you should continue making moar songs! ^^
Amazing, don't listen to the people who are butthurt over you taking a stab at Husky or who are saying this is just a "glorified whine thread." Some people need to learn to just chill and enjoy something that clearly took a lot of hard work, even if they disagree with it.
And btw, I don't think Terran is OP nor do I dislike Husky, but this was very well done.
Illegal workers are not the problem. A lot of people look down on migrant workers or guys at home depot trying to find work. I have HUGE admiration for anyone with that kind of hustle. That shit is the opposite of lazy. People that want to work are NOT the problem. It's the people that don't want to work that we need to get rid of. Migrant workers aren't taking away jobs... at least not any that anyone else wants to do. Instead, these workers are a deflationary mechanism... On a global scale, we are competing with countries like China and India, places whose only competitive advantage is their cheap and plentiful workforce. We don't have that natively. Migrant workers allow us to increase our economic output by transferring our native workforce from lower to higher productivity jobs. If this workforce is eliminated, you can expect price increases across the board, especially in sectors like the farming and building industries. Ready to pay twice as much for your groceries? You can't have it both ways.
I mean, putting that much sober thought and research into a rap is really appreciated.
I want to hear more of his stuff - SC2 related or not.
Btw please take a look at something like flattr as it might be a nice way for people to be able to offer support for something nice (a way for people to give a tiny bit of money aka micropayment).
It is growing _very_ fast, mainly in Northern Europe I believe, but the cost to setup an account (you need your own account in order to booth receive and send support is pretty cheap so I hope this is a growing trend)

Awesome song, great quality but the ending, not so good - we play SC2. We all have our nerd rages from time to time. This song is pretty G'd up but we ALL know, this is just for fun. No need to get all G'd up from the feet up in this shizzle, ya noee?

Yeah they aren't perfect. I mean i giggle each time Husky talk about Kulas Ravin of a Zerg map because of zerglings. But they give some kind of entertainement when watching VODs. They aren't here for analysis after all.

haha for sure! you entitled yours rap battle, and what would a rap battle be without a response? cooking up a short one, should have it posted in a few.
I listened to the beginning, and when the first verse hit me, I thought, this guy's for real. But then I listened to the last verse and was disappointed, because it probably got featured due to the TL circlejerk at the end.

This song is better then the song on the original post! lol
Also, did no one catch the shout out to Gnial and his Stalker into Void Ray Strat in the OP? I thought that was hilarious. He clearly is connected to the community, which is again, awesome.
As for his thoughts on Husky... we all have our views. He just has a microphone and some tools to express his opinions.

3000 times better than the OP. First one includes random insults combined with Idrafanboyism and that makes it even worse.
ughh... not to hate on this but if you guys think these lyrics and delivery is actually good. you must not listen to real hip hop.... I think its pretty clever and alright for a nerd rap but for those saying send this and that to eminem and omg this is better than rap music in general must not know anything about the genre.
plus peoples comments saying rap is only about insults and cursing. Seriously... Will Smith never curses in his songs. He was pretty popular and successful as a rapper. And as for the insults in rap... maybe in a diss track but not always. Seriously....
Rob Hustle all up in this. Terran's, I'm putting you on notice. You're OP. Fuck h-to the usky husky. You sound like a d-to the umbass, dumbass Day 9 for life. Special shouts out to TeamLiquid.Net Yeah.

So many sensitive individuals in this thread. This is creative expression... I can't believe how many people are upset by someone's opinion in a song. I thought it was well done, and while I don't expect it to hit the Billboard Top 10 anytime soon, I got a laugh out of it and played it on Weapon of Choice. I wouldn't take his lyrics personally.
this song is incredible, and I agree with everything in it lolol. the husky diss made it a legit rap song imo, even if it was just a joke (i'm a husky subscriber, but I agree that the h to the usky intro is getting pretty lame)

Terran wasn't OP at beginning of Beta.
Mutas pwndizzled both Toss and Terran back then, before Thor had splash and when it was even more clunky, while Turrets did like half the dmg to mutas they do now. Roaches were better, hydras had 10 more HP, and infestors were a bajillion times better than now. Burrow was also cheaper for those roaches, and they naturally regenerated as fast as the tunneling claws upgrade now provides (and could be upgraded to like 20hp/s?!).

Yea, but Terrans also didn't make tanks because they thought they sucked. Let me say that again, Terrans didn't make tanks, because they thought they sucked.
Mutas were a lot stronger, though, since marines didn't cut it once banelings were brought into play.

It couldn't be more obvious that you didn't play in the beta if you honestly think that.
Funny song but bad taste with the Husky hate, he plays Toss, so why the hate? If you don't like his style don't watch him, listen to Day 9. Different styles. Good rap save for the last Chorus.
I agree with everything in this song especially the husky part. I like his commentator but the only vids of idra he shows are him losing to terrans or idra raging which we all do in real life but its idra he has the right to speak his mind

Terran is not OP in many ways that are nerfable. Its really the fact that it's easier for you to see inside your opponents base, stop a rush, harass without reprecussion, and tech to t3 immediately without building a large force to defend yourself. (Mostly due to you not having to rely on anything with less than 6 range early game plus having siege tanks after that).
I understand that amongst the complainers only 1/3 are P&Z who are actually losing games due to not being able to punish the T player when they should. I understand that the other 2/3 are bandwagoners who justify their losses on complaints they don't understand by chanting imba.
But... Try to understand this issue from your opponents point of view rather than your own. It's easy to say that they lost because they didn't do this this and this to counter your forces or they didn't scout so on and so forth. But you know what you are doing and (as you should) you know how to counter it.
This is a breakdown of Toss/Terran line of thought from my point of view. Think about this the next time you criticize a toss player for "a1a2a3a4"
1. Terran: Build a wall, send an scv after your rax has started building. Scout areas near your base for cannon cheese/ gate all in.
Toss: Send an early scout into their base so that it can get in before they wall up and see if they are cheesing/going all in. Else you will lose.
2. Terran: Decide whether you want to harass, tech hard, or build a bioball. Toss: Based entirely upon the assumption of what your opponent is doing, build a composition that can counter their build to begin generating a troop advantage that you will need to survive later in the game. Or if you have no pride and are playing a low level player, Void Rays + prayer is an option. (Be sure to hide your stargate somewhere undefendable so that the terran player doesn't catch it with their scanner)
3. Terran: Scan your opponent to see what they are doing. If they are doing anything all in, counter it and wipe them. gg.
Toss: Start going robo to build an observer to see whay your opponent is doing. (if your opponent is rushing marine/marauder, you will be at a disadvantage from spending this money) Another option to see if they are going early rush it to poke at their door with stalkers and see what pokes back. You have to balance this poking with macro or you will lose.
4. Terran: Build an expansion, Start making banshees to harass, or strengthen you ball with ghosts, tanks, and/or medivacs. Toss: Once the observer is up, see if your opponent is expanding, if not, sneak in the side to see their army composition and if they are building units to harrass. Be wary of ravens and missile turrets. Also, don't go too near his troops because he can see you, scan and kill your observer, forcing you to spend another 100gas. This requires a lot of micro. If your oponnent expanded, and you cant attack (90% of the time the nat is too close). If your opponend is harassing, build pylons and cannons at your mineral line to protect your harvesters. (another observer ans some stalkers is a better strat as it is cheaper and more versatile. Keep tabs on how many banshees they have as you will need to counter accordingly. If they are building more units for their ball, counter compose your army to gain an advantage. You can try to take an expo as well, but this is risky.
5. Terran: Scan your opponent again. This requires no gas and almost no micro. Also, it's instantaneous. If you see your opponent has an inferior force or an innappropriate composition, go kill them. gg.
If you see a way to get your tanks to their doorstep and deploy them before combat. Do that. gg. If you went banshee's harass their economy and out macro them, use cloak to kill their units and stay away from observers. Your banshees are faster and they cant be everywhere at once. If they decide to take advantage of the fact that you used a strategy that leaves your base "vulnerable" and they move out to attack you, backstab their base with banshees. You should be able to kill them before they kill you. gg. If not, you base can fly. Go lift it off and hide. gg.
Protoss: Its time to push. You should have Colossuses by this point that will help you attack the terran base at safe range and will slice balls if you have enough. If they build banshees somewhere else in secret. You gonna get raped. gg. As long as you poke properly and dont let your units get hit too hard outside of terrans base you should be able to break down their wall. Your forces now have to funnel up the opponents ramp while taking fire from all of your opponents units. (Range 6 :D) You need to have your zealots in front, followed by your immortals and then your other ranged, or you will have units who are not doing damage due to range issues. The obvious downside to this formation is that EMP will utterly sodomize you by killing off your meaty units first. Leaving your colossuses and stalkers. (Hope they dont have marauders) If you manage to break throughyour enemies forces with some troops still intact, you can now destroy their base. gg. Unless.... you are playing on an island expo map. Then your opponent will medivac their SCV's and fly their com center to the island (this is only if you beat them early when it can still fly. Otherwise they build another one. Then they will tech to starports. Or take their starports with them. At this point you get to race the clock to see if you can get an air force mobilized quickly enough to take them out or they will start harassing you from their island or air superiority. You lose if you dont dominate the air.
If you lose: Hey man, you tried your best but you couldn't counter their every move. Good Try though. gg.
If you win: The terran player will talk about how its hard for them to play against toss. gg. I mean, yes you had to outplay him at every turn and he's probably going to complain about how much harder his micro is, but gg anyway.
The bottom line is that it is much, much harder to play a reactive game then it is to play a wall up and do whatever the hell you want game. So the next time a Protoss player tries to void rush you, think about his options.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying that this is all a terran player ever does, just comparing what you have to do versus what we have to do.

No, they didn't make tanks because mech wasn't viable. Hellions had shorter range and Thors were poor vs mutas. They were essentially forced into bio.
Immortals also came out muuuuuch quicker. Their build time was absolutely crushed after a nerf.

Worst rant ever.
Every single of your argument could just be turned around.
Protoss : Build an observer to scout everything in the terrans base, just learn to not run into ravens. Terran : Try to scan the good spot in the opponents base, which turns out in -250 mineral, which is not good since protoss is already 2-3 probes ahead thanks to chronoboost.
See what I did there ? Youve got to see the whole picture, I understand that there is a balance problem in TvZ (mainly due to the fact that T has a lot of possibilities for harassing while Z is a heavily macro-oriented race). The way you are speaking is as if TvP was an extremely imbalanced match-up while in reality (and by that I dont mean your Bronze league, I mean higher level games), protoss and terran is the most interesting matchup to watch and to play thanks to the balance it has.
Yeah, I think there are very, very few people who understand both Terran and Zerg well enough to comment about its balance. I certainly don't feel qualified and I'm a diamond T and Z player :/
The result is the terrible, flawed, LONG, rambling threads all over the place. So sad.
That said, this rap is AWESOME. (granted, I'm biased)
Best thread ever. The OP is super fucking legit. Everything about it is hilarious and awesome, but the cool part is the fact that there's a response rap. I'm genuinely impressed with both the production quality and the MC skillz displayed by all involved.
Laughed hard for a good minute when I heard the Husky disss...
In any case, why are people still asking about the Husky diss? Do you guys not read the thread before posting? OP said he has nothing against Husky, he was just making fun of the way he says "h to the usky, husky" when he introduces himself.
And to those that say it is in bad taste etc. Rap (and music in general) is simply an outlet for people to be creative, if there was a stringent rule on what one could use in a song, then it wouldn't really be classed in the "arts" now would it? What makes a parody successful is that it utilises enough of the things that people commonly associate with the topic so as to ensure people can see the connection. So posting an exception to the general consensus that swearing is common in rap songs in no way invalidates a damn thing.
It's blatantly obvious the OP did this for LOLz.
Also, how in the hell would substituting "dumbass" with something like "childish" even work? "C to the hildish, childish" ???? Most songs have lyrics which when read without the music would be painful to read.
YYYEEEESSSSS! Love the husky hate. Im really unbiased about his commentary at most times. I just hate his intro... h to the usky. You hit the nail on the head with everything in this song. ROFL.
you down with the terran OP? Yeah, those tanks just sieged you down with the terran OP? Yeah, those tanks just sieged you down with the terran OP? I also got vikings and time to push everybody!

Speaking of looking at the whole picture, read and digest the entire explanation or "rant" before you form a narrow opinion about two lines.
Once again, the nature of that post was not about how much harder it is for me QQ. The point was to explain that as a terran player you have lots of options available while we have to for the most part play a reactive game or we will lose.
To use your example. Observers come from a Robotics Facility. This is a later branch from our tech tree which dedicates us to the ground force route for early/mid game. Every terran builds an orbital command. You then have the option to persue mech, bio, or banshee harrass mixed with either of those other two options, while I have at least on the short term committed to either building a ground force, or make more buildings, weakening my army as a whole. You have options, I do not. I am not hyperbolizing the situation saying that I never have any decisions or that you completely control what I do. But your choices control the way that the game flows. If you don't want me to attack you for the first 10 minutes, I cant. This is not an option that I have against you.
As for chronoboost versus Orbital command, there is almost no competition. A chrono boost gives me 10 seconds which, in terms of a mineral boost, probes coming out 10 seconds before they were going to does not = 250 minerals in any world I've ever visited. Using Orbital Command to scan an opponents base is not a loss of 250 minerals, it is a choice not to gain minerals. You aren't actually spending money. There is a difference just as choosing to drop a mule is not
READ: I'm not saying OC is imba. I understand that it cost you 150m plus time spent not building SCV's to create, plus it takes twice as long for you to get 1/4 of your energy, but arguing that Chrono Boost is better is innaccurate.
I wouldn't want to leave out any minor details for you to base your entire arguement on next time.
Sorry about being a condescending D-bag but I fight fire with fire.
I you would like to write a clean, concise, well worded arguement for why you disagree with me, I'd be happy to hear it.
Are people seriously talking about balance and what not in this thread. This song is great and the production quality is awesome. Just enjoy the good fun for once and leave the balance talk to other more "serious" threads.
This should be Terran's theme song. This song rocks, and even if it was meant to be a joke, I think Terran deserves every criticism it gets because everything in this song is actually true. I mean, its almost a fact that Terran requires the least amount of skill out of the 3 races. I'm not saying whether or not thats a bad thing, but Terran should just be proud that they are the gayest race.
On August 17 2010 22:45 hdkhang wrote: Laughed hard for a good minute when I heard the Husky disss...
In any case, why are people still asking about the Husky diss? Do you guys not read the thread before posting? OP said he has nothing against Husky, he was just making fun of the way he says "h to the usky, husky" when he introduces himself.
Thanks for all the positive feedback. A lot of people seem to be taking the husky diss seriously. The diss, like the song, is a joke. I'm quoting the above response because this poster understands how it was meant. Video games... serious bizness.
Anyway, thanks for all the love, I really appreciate it.
I do find it hilarious that aside from this song asserting Terran is the "gayest, least skilled" race, the other major contribution to TL by the OP is the Cannon Rushing Guide (very well done guide though, I must say).
Even the King of Cheese is hating on the Terrans. = D
GREAT production Skills.. it has the best audio quality in sc2 raps, the lyrics didnt made me laugh or whatnot like some of the others did but its general tone is fuckem so its good..
Pretty nice quality, actually. And somehow the IdrA picture in the Youtube vid makes it that much better, I don't know why. It's the perfect pic for this song :D
You guys should stop taking everything in life so seriously :>
Call me a fag but this song pulled at my heartstrings. It generated an intense montage of nostalgic starcraft memories from when I was a kid. I didn't realize the game and the community affected me that much.
EDIT: I found the original song... just realized the lyrics are nearly identical with only some of the words changed (to resemble starcraft). Rhyme scheme and chorus are nearly identical.
OP - that song was the complete opposite of what I had expected when I clicked this thread. It was on fucking point. You need to spend some time and create another one. I want a dedicated, starcraft playlist to jam to when I am playing.
You into jedi mind tricks, canibus, immortal technique, necro, sage francis, casidy, or any underground hip op?

Aloha! Thanks man... you know, I think it would be awesome to have a starcraft mixtape. If anyone has any suggestions for what the songs should be about, let me know. Obviously you'd want to feature something of each race, but it could be whatevers.
Also, if there are any producers here, get at me. It would be dope to get beats from actual sc2 players.
Regarding underground hip hop... yeah, i listen to most of those artists. In fact, one of my producers works for Necro. I actually do a lot more freestyling than writing. In fact, I did this song in about 3 hours start to finish. I just rolled the beat in a loop and recorded myself freestyling over it over and over. I pulled out the parts that sounded good, worked them over a bit, then released it.
I'm glad that people like the production quality, but honestly, it was a very quick project. So anyways, if anyone has ideas for tracks for a mixtape, get at me and lets see if we can get one put together. Especially producers... Beats w/ SC2 sounds would be dope!

Diamond League.
Really off topic here, but why do a lot of people feel the need to justify their argument with their league? If you post an intelligent, thought out post (which bobcat did, 2x), does it matter if he's Diamond, or never played a game in his life? I hate that it comes down to that.
And I'm not going to fall into the trap that this will inevitably create. You want my league, look it up.

Only gold, silver, and bronze players enjoy Husky. Day9 actually brings intelligent comments to his matches. And Terran... well, I think everyone non-Terran player can agree about that imba. Blizzard needs to fix something. You're spot on with everything!

Day9 brings intelligent comments for sure. But he aint half as fun to listen to as the duo Husky and HD.
Day9 just goes on and on and on and never stops to take a breather. It feels like being in school listening to a teacher. Again nothing wrong with listening to an intelligent teacher, you get to learn a thing or two.
But that doesn't make classes always fun just because they are educating.
I hope there will be a Terran nerf soon. Then hopefully everybody will stop crying about Terran OP and only the people will play Terran that really like their style, not because they think Terran is the strongest race.

You're right; if you're more interested in having someone yell really loudly or make unintelligent jokes that just come across as having issues with awkwardness, then yes, Husky and HD are solid. And a note about your stance on education - I hate the subjects in school, but I love Starcraft. Learning about the game excites me and most people on this site. I'd much rather learn something than be entertained by a dumb clown who makes the same jokes all the time.
If you want to watch Day9 be "interesting", go look him up on Youtube casting Chill vs CombatX. Here's a link:

You must have never watched Day[9] shoutcasts. His dailies are "like being in school" because that is what his dailies are for. When he is actually commentating, then he pretty much everything HD/Husky is but better.
americans and euros suck at this game. Koreans are good at this game. Terran is not OP, most people, fail and do not think about what their doing. Zerg has so many options, and most people on US/EU servers DO NOT utilize shit. This is pathetic game hasnt been out a month and already the people that fail this game are whining. Sad.

You know that the Korean zergs also struggle, right? Could you like to be more specific than players "do not utilize shit"? Do you have something to suggest that hasn't been tried by the top zergs and roundly rejected as a terrible idea?
Actually a rap fan here, unlike most. Have to say, while it didn't really shine for lyricism, it was all relevant and flowed well. Production quality is really high... laughed my ass off hearing the toss then zerg voices on the hook... that's what made it for me: too funny.

If you don't have anything intelligent to say..... don't say anything at all. If you want to go make some brilliant thread about how people who play terran have higher I.Q. levels and are generally smarter than everyone else who plays the game. You do that, but leave it out of the TERRANS OP RAP THREAD.

You retards still dont get this song. The man is angry about op terran, you can see the husky part as a frustration that he just throw out there. He has also said he has nothing against husky, only maybe the part which he starts his casts with h to the usky stuff. The Husky part was in fact genious, it fits nice with the songs angry theme. So it is in fact very relevant to the song.

You're a retard for completely missing the comedy aspect. Hey, I can be insulting too! I highly doubt he made the song because he's *that* pissed off. The Husky thing isn't relevant at all, though it is funny.

Thanks man. I have a few things in the works, not necessarily SC2 related, but I never stray far from my roots I will be back reppin TL once I get these projects finished. Stay tuned!
I hope your are not toooo serious on what you are saysing this song, but I think it is pretty good - especially the first verse made me smile a few times
The production quality is good, and you manage to pull it off the song without sounding awful like 99% of the other songs posted here, but none of that saves this from being a glorified whine thread.
You say we OP, but oh gee, you got your soul devoured By some Gosu Terran, and then you say they's overpowered Don't give us crap bro, just go and work on your macro Spend your money, make some workers, don't get pylon capped bro Build units, and then you won't get raped in the asshole Listenin' to Zergs and Protosses complain makes me laugh bro You callin' bullshit when, you never tryin' them Warp Prisms And then you lose more games and then you get more sick and How dare you make fun of the H-to-the-Usky Husky? I'm gonna teach you something, man that guy is very funny Don't call him a fucking, whatever it was, trust me Utter another word about him and watch your gums bleed You playin' against Terran like you got a bit of sickness Is it syphilis? What's with your Colossus positionin'? Well, it's getting late, I'm tired, so I'll say You can whine like a little girl or go and practice all day.
The warning on this says that I'd better not bump this thread "without good reason." Well, looking at MLG Anaheim and the fact that there are 17 Terrans in Code S (Out of 32 seats) I think is a plenty good reason.

No, that's a terrible reason.
Who cares. I got good lulz from this song I think its fine to bring this song back to community knowledge. Last Chorus was fricken hilarious.
Dude, this song was from a year ago, it isn't new. People need to quit bumping this, someone decided to bump it for the sake of balance whine. It just doesn't need to come back.

It's a song. And it's funny and well done. But you wouldn't know that because you were too ignorant to even hit play. TL sure has spawned a lot of ignorant anti-balance-discussion sheep.
ahh this is one of the reasons i switched to zerg back in august but then i went back to terran because i just like them better. Though i probably should've stuck with terran during that time so i could abuse the 5rax reaper rush that i never got to use

I second the best gaming song part. My buddy and I are huge rap enthusiasts and we always praise how professional and good this song is. I cringe 99% of the time I hear rap but yours was a delight. I like your classic troll/fronting shit at the end. D to the umbass indeed.

Yeah too bad people don't realize that it's part of a rapper's persona to create beef with other rappers. This could have been the start of an epic rap rivalry with Husky!
