tl;dr- Almost everybody online cheeses. That's why US lags behind in competitive Starcraft (II). As the typical American's drive is solely to win. The best American players would also in turn be great at cheese/anti-cheese, but be only decent in later-game prospects.

Almost every single player that I've played has tried to win with banshee rush, all marine rush, voidray rush, 4 gate rush, baneling rush, any cheese Voidray "rush", esp against terran, 4gate, and banshee rush are all legit strategies, not cheeses, if they know how to properly transition out of them. Many Zerg player are just too frustrated to even think of ways to counter T.

I havent done a banelingbust opening since the release, i mean i havent rushed to it, ofc from 3 base when i can do w/e yeah. But i can see your problem, as i was watching Dimaga and aside from a couple of games he allined every ZvT for weeks, for the obvious reason everyone knows except for rabbid terrans and trolls

When most of your wins are 20 min+, you want to baneling rush sometimes.

Especially when every single map is so tiny, and the tanks will leapfrog each other in a few volleys and already be at the front door of zerg's expo. Yeah its heavily map dependent. Personally I just sixpool or bb whenever I roll Zerg on Steppes of War, but on any other map Zerg really shouldn't be giving up before starting. Even on Steppes of War you probably shouldn't just give up like that, but I'm just lazy and care about my winrate too much :p.

Most of the terrans at your rank got there by 1 base all-ins every single fucking game. At least 80% of the terrans I played in a management game had the mechanics of a D scrub and don't actually deserve their rank. So when I'm pitted against a terran mech in a macro game, I'm content. In other words, terran mech is imba. If a player of lesser skill has the same rank as you, just because he spams 1 strategy, then i would consider that strategy an imbalance. In a fully balanced game, skill should be the only deciding factor on your ranking

Everytime a baneling bust doesn't work and the zerg player immediately quits - I die a little inside. I see Checkprime use banelings throughout a 20+ minute game quite often. HD's most recent update had tons of ZvT being played the way it's supposed to be. Aggressively. The "Baneling Bust (BLB)" refers to stopping drones at around 14ish supply and only building lings till ~30ish supply since it has to come before sieged tanks, it is very all-in. Using banelings is not all-in, the Baneling Bust is.

Oh really ? Terrans are slow as f*ck and zergs are fast as hell, how is that imbalanced ? Not the Ts fault if you try to a-move and take a terran force head-on... Muta harass, burrow-moving, nydus, fungal growth 2x = no more infantry etc... At the mid-game get your zerglings behind his moving force, a-move your roaches/hydras straight into his ball and when tanks start firing send in your glings. GG kthxbye for 90% of terran players.
