There isn't, you can't actually determine whether an account is suspended or not through the profile, since they all show up.

My friend who is in silver league showed me his sc2ranks profile and he’s ranked about #20,000 in Europe (link:http://www.sc2ranks.com/eu/1333606/TreeGem). I checked my own profile and had to see the system ranked me #27,000 in EU, although I'm a diamond player (link:http://www.sc2ranks.com/eu/180548/MIK). I haven’t laddered since roughly 3 months and only got 670 points while he already collected 970 points. So my question is: What does sc2ranks ranking system take into consideration when determining a player’s rank? Does it only consider the amount of points, ignoring leagues? Is it an indicator to skill or only to grinding hours? Because in a straight up 1v1 my friend would lose about 99,9% of the games. Does that mean the system is corrupted or am I looking at it from a wrong perspective?

And is there a way to put this in proportion? I mean, can I have it spit out my overall rank on the Server or will I have to add up total number of master league players + 27,000 = to get my rank and total number of master league players + total number of diamond league players + total number of platinum league players + total number of gold league players + 20,000 = to get my friends overall rank? ^_^ But still the question remains, only this time within the league: Does #20,000 mean my friend has the 20,000 most points in silver or is he the 20,000th most skilled player within silver?

I second the request for a checkbox that would regulate this (if something like that can even be implemented).

I find it hard to believe that this could be reflective of skill differentials between the regions. Is there currently some problem normalizing scores between regions? The Korean ladder is more competitive than the European ladder. That's why top players get fewer points in the Korean league than in the European league.

I think it would be better if the default page was http://sc2ranks.com/ranks/all/master/1/all/pointpool Maybe even change the points graphs to show that as well? Then people would be encouraged to quote their adjusted points or whatever term wins out for this. It's so much better than people saying they're XXXX masters with the constantly inflating ladder points.

It's totally useless, but people like to do useless things that result in a pretty graph ![]()

No, while Excal has been doing some work to figure this out, there isn't anything solid yet. If it gets solved in an automatically solvable way, SC2Ranks will start supporting it. Could this be done for the top 200 2v2 players as well? It's kind of annoying to have to wait 15 hours or so before it updates. It wouldn't need to be as fast as the top200 1v1, even every 3 hours or so would be nice. Thanks Took a look into this, it's been changed to this: The top 50 players divisions in every 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 bracket from Bronze - Diamond is now updated every 12 hours. The top 200 players divisions (about, 50 divisions) in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4ve are now updated every 3 hours. On February 19 2011 06:54 lucky13od wrote: Why i can't find myself in sc2ranks? Won't happen because it's not 100% accurate, since it's not based on how much bonus pool they've used, but the overall total. Are there only small islands of teammates, or is there a global network of "teamness"? If there is a big connected component, how many links in average are needed to reach a random person? It's totally useless, but people like to do useless things that result in a pretty graph ![]() I believe there is someone who is doing something like this, but it's nothing public right now. If someone really did want to do this, I'm always happy to provide anonymized data for people who are crazy enough to try it.
