![[image loading]](http://www.gamereplays.org/community/uploads/repimgs/repimg-33-150989.jpg) lol just played DIMAGA's off race. his tvz is definitely better than that of most top 200 terran players + Show Spoiler + definitely welcoming criticism mistakes i recognize: 1) forgot gas early because i was too worried about him bunker blocking my ramp he actually could have killed me immediately had he gone for 5rax over early cc so i lucked out 2) when i almost killed his third, i chose to defend my 3rd from his drop and extend my economic lead rather than 1a2a3aing to victory 3) not enough lings during certain engagements so i wasnt able to hinder/flank his marauders to prevent kiting my ultralisks 4) there was a time when i went into the nydus to move like 5 feet instead of just raping his exposed army attacking my natural (by exposed, i mean not tightly squeezed into a choke/ramp) 5) infestors would have been nice i suppose but i prefer to flank instead of ensare, but dimaga is far smarter than terrans i usually beat apparently because he was never out of position 6) my late game macro was pretty bad especially after he killed my natural, it really disoriented me and my hotkeys. its funny because late game macro used to be a strength of mine but i never ever get any late game practice anymore cuz every sc2 game ends in under 12 minutes my #1 priority in every engagement is to flank (to prevent kiting and obviously to maximize surface area to optimize dmg output) but i felt like the map and positioning made it impossible DIMAGA is actually really really smart with his army placement. he almost never exposed his army to potential flanks and he almost always had his bio army balled up rather than arcing to minimized surface area. he also had surpsisingly good control although poor macro as obviously this is his off race obviously infestors are good to ensnare if your opponent doesnt allow flanks but really, when i get a 90k resource score vs a 50k resource score, is it really that necessary? my zvt isnt awful either, ive beaten quite a few notable terrans who are better than me(like lz, select, blendio etc etc but only when they were off their game) seriously, i dont know whether to laugh or cry after this game zvt is definitely possible but i feel like i have to play 100% flawlessly in every single way or pray my opponent makes blatant errors maybe i couldve killed his army if i didnt worm into his main at the end but for some reason i doubt it lol dimaga is definitely my favorite non korean player without question. i didnt tell him that though, i figure he hears that all the time anyways he messaged me after this game to tell me how ridiculous this game was lolol | ||

F u c k i n g IMBA. Dimaga doesnt play terran, but he micro like he have played them since start of beta. I have no clue how you lost this game, you had 6 bases vs 1, and 200 supply vs 70 or somthing. Problem was you could never reach dimagas marauders/marines, theres only one answer to that and it takes abit of extra apm __INFESTOR__ Also when you let him mule out gold expo he had enough minerals to make a 180 supply army himself and end it edit: there was also 100 times during that game if you had only attacked head on you would have won easy instead of letting dimaga stim kite you around open areas. Fungal growth is your friend man | ||

A good terran would have mopped this up sooner than 50 minutes. You had bases but some you didn't even have drones on them and others weren't even saturated. You did do some nice attacks more in the mid game. I liked your nydus canal and then attacking the gold. People say Idra is the one with the temper. Actually, it is Dimaga who is the angry one. This is the third time I've seen where he behaves in a way to 'protest' Blizzard. This game is yet another attempt (and desperate attempt I might add) to 'show Blizzard' how 'imBalAncEd' Terran is. The first time I've seen Dimaga do this was during the King of the Beta tournament where, to protest Blizzard's latest patch, he chose to only play all-in games. The second time I've seen Dimaga do this was when he told Morrow to go reapers against Idra in the final tournament games so Blizzard will nerf them. That backfired when Idra was able to beat them or hold them off, and Morrow switched from reapers to a more standard Terran build for the later game and final game. The third time is with this game you posted Billy. If Dimaga thinks that game shows 'imba', I am going to have to laugh as it backfires against him again. I wish Dimaga would just play the game and drop the 'try to manipulate Blizzard to nerf Terran' behavior. he messaged me after this game to tell me how ridiculous this game was lolol And people think Idra is the one with the 'bad attitude'... | ||

What earth do you live on? Morrow's reaper rushes against idra in IEM didnt fail. It didnt streight up kill idra, but it put him behind, and thats the purpose. Last game morrow killed idra cus he was so afraid of the reaper build that he was only prepping for it. Reapers got nerfed this patch, so if anything, dimagas plan worked out. It did not backfire the slightest lol. | ||

You had bases but some you didn't even have drones on them and others weren't even saturated. i had over 80 drones..... and even that is close to overdoing it and cutting into my unit count you're right, he should have won in the early game if he had macro'd fully. close positions on metalopolis is literally impossible to win on. i dont think you're giving good advice if you think i should have saturated more seeing as how i was maxed with a surplus of resources i'd also like to hear the exact moment i dedicated to a choke point attack, because i pulled out of at least 3+ choke point attacks. the choked off positions was the exact reason i was so passive the entire game. the one at the end was because i was already dead and couldnt get out of my base. if you saw, i was actually trying to worm outside of my base so i had units in the network while simultaneously attempting to protect the worm (obv failed) im not sure what you want me to do there.. i was trapped, he had already won at that point because he can just run up the ramp and kill my base while being even more choked off anyways and reason i dont get fungal growth in my standard play is because it cuts into my muta count/production/tech/upgrades/ultras and usually flanks are only needed to sandwich marauders(ive actually now realized that in close positions on metalopolis there is literally no reason for dimaga to ever step out into the open regions so yeah its impossible to flank in these positions i realize), but regardless you're right i could definitely have afforded infestors in this game with the ultras lol no it isn't yes it is ive beaten dozens of terrans rated in the top 200 repeatedly with about x10 the ease. to make that statement you must be a top 200 terran yourself, whats your account name? chances are we've played? u might have misunderstood the context. he meant it in a "wow tvz is so imbalanced in favor of T LOL" type of way then apologized for messaging me while i was in game and wished me luck can't say i understand why you hate dimaga, hes really really well mannered | ||

Nice nydus usage btw. remember, FUNGAL GROWTH! yep yep, i agree this is literally the only game ive played where i was maxed with ultra tech, broodlord tech with 6 mining bases and lost solely because of a lack of infestors the entire time i felt like i could play passively and wait for him to walk out into the open (obviously hindsight is 20-20, he has literally no reason to ever go out in the open in those positions) i really felt under the gun most of the time and felt like i needed attacking units constantly ASAP or i'd be dead (he was camped outside my base all game long) infestors take 50 seconds to build + 40 seconds to regenerate energy for fungal and can insta fail at times and i just felt too squeezed for time lol just felt like i need to explain myself there, obviously didnt anticipate a 50 minute long game or i would have built them as soon as i had low mineral + high gas | ||
