Well.. thats rough for protoss. They got nerfed HARD with this whole force field crushing ability. As if it was bad enough that any Protoss not named White-Ra was getting owned hard lately, they have to nerf them more and buff terran even more.

Guess Im playing Z again. Which wasnt even fixed, Ultras problem wasnt dmg, they just died too fast.. and roaches not back to 1 supply.

Stupid patch

I think my ZvP got a lot easier but my ZvT is gonna be exactly the same as pre-patch although 50 dmg ultras sound like they have some potential.

This is interesting. I'm still worried about the ultralisk. The cost to create ultras has seemingly increased if it is indeed a requirement to have infestors with them. They still have their extremely long build time/upgrade time. So I guess it all comes down to how effective they will be. For the time/cost investment they would have to be borderline overpowered to justify making them still. I am still in favor of making them less effective but faster to obtain much like the colossus and thor are.

I am really excited about the overseer changes. That will definitely be fun and justify spending 100 gas on them.

Frenzy spell will make Hydralisks become even deadlier. Not good IMO. At 25 energy and 30 seconds duration you get a lot of utility from it and the Infestor can stay safe in the back and still deal damage. Very bad decision IMO.

the problem wasnt them dying too fast because in mass they were still hard to kill, it was not getting cluttered or stuck on shit to actually be able to get into battle

with frenzy/FF crush it will be alot easier.

THEN AGAIN, we also havent considered the hidden changes blizz always makes, that they dont list. i mean hell u ltras could walk over lings now for all we know

so basically they added a requirement to "efficient" use of ultras (frenzy) and nerfed their hp by 25%. I can totally see how they're going to reach the enemy to get a few swings in now. thanks Blizzard!

More lols, but seriously terrans getting stronger and stronger by the patch, protoss getting weaker and weaker every patch. zerg basically getting the exact same spells switched between units.

But hey, ladder resets incoming, thats nice, oh and diamond leagues inc and removing copper leagues, so basically the exact same thing except previous copper leaguers feel better cuz now they are in a league made with a better metal.

is it just me or is blizzard's gold -> platinum -> diamond copying OSL golden mouse -> plat mouse -> diamond mouse concept?

i loved how in their explanation they said ultras would be stronger against marauders. when in reality nerfing their hp is going to make them so so so much weaker. stimmed marauders could already completely annihilate ultras before they can get in range to attack. now it's just going to be worse. also no addressing the issue that ultras are like protoss casting 2 forcefields. often times it's a hindrance to the efficiency of your army to produce ultralisks. the only time i can see them being useful is if they come in from a flank (side/behind)

but really. i. like alot of people feel like sinking the massive resource cost into ultras. just puts you behind and feels like your throwing the game away. broodlords are still much better
