This patch 11 is EVVVVIIILLLLLLL!!!!!
They really fracked up latency.
I had a working map where my bro would be a first person shooter, while I was building a base, it was ACTUALLY smooth, when he clicked to fire or move, that happened without any sort of delay ( we are on a lan connection going through b.net ). I heard plenty about how FPS's wouldnt be viable over b.net, so this was SOOOO KICKASS.
They snuck latency down to 125 to see if anyone would notice, and I guess they snuck it back to 250, because right now there is a severe delay when firing or moving. My units also feel way less responsive now >.<. Instant forcefields, I bid you farewell! T_T
Edit: Also, no, the map wasnt changed, nor was the connection. Everything was setup exactly the same. >.<. Hopefully Blizz will add in tourney mode without hack detection and peer to peer for decreased lat.

In addition, when i go to main and exit game, the exit screen just stands tehre, and in order to shut down the game i have to open my process manager and kill the process.
So i was just wondering if anyone else have this same issue and if someone had it but fixed it.
My net and all is fine, got 25/5Mpbs connection and very good computer, it just happened after patch 11. very strange.
thanks
I think the exiting game issue should be dealt with in the next patch, it is extremely common, literally EVERYONE I know with beta has this issue.

I have the exiting problem too, it happened before patch 11 once or twice, but now it happens every time. also, just as a general problem, the desktop link to the beta isn't working, im being forced to use the switcher in the "program files" folder.
I use XP

(how is possible that theyy have create a bug like that? lol)

my biggest problem with this patch is that my keyboard answer with a lag (not the game but the hotkeys are just slow to answer). but when I type to wine about this in the game, my keyboard is fine...

for me the game actually also crashes in-game since patch 11. with every crash my life span is reduced by a couple of days.

Latency & Exit issue here as well. You would think they would do some thorough testing before rolling out patches.

I'm experiencing this issue with the latest patch. Starcraft II freezes every time I exit out. Anyone else dealing with the same? Is the recommendation still just to log-out of battle.net prior to exiting?
