I suppose that if your friend account works you need to contact TechSupport..I highly doubt anyone here can resolve this (but it is not a common issue  )However you should have blogged it ._. | ||

its related to your email.... all you can do is yes message blizz tech support , or just wait for them to fix it.... there are severals post on the blizz boards about that but they did not even answer to 1 single of them... hehe gota love their communication | ||

"Ok, so I have this problem too, but I've been able to consistently get past it: 1. When you first click connect with just your e-mail address and the timeout/bnet connectivity messages pop up, click OK on both of them. 2. Click connect again. This time the password box should show up. Type in your password and click connect again. This time the box grays out and nothing happens -- it appears to be stuck. 3. Click on the arrow button (I think it's for changing accounts) next to your e-mail address -- this will effectively cancel the previous connection attempt and un-gray out the connect box. 4. Reconnect again with your credentials and you should see your character appear (or be able to create it) and will be allowed to enter bnet as normal. 5. You may have to repeat certain steps in the process before it finally works. This process has worked for me so far. I hope it helps some of you guys as well. Good luck!" | ||

I said to try the same account on a different computer, not different account on different computer. The reason for this advice is because it actually happened to me. It wouldn't let me login and I couldn't ask for help on the battle.net forums cause I didn't have a profile made. I updated the SC2 on my laptop, it let me login to battlenet, made a profile through there, and all my problems were solved. (Except the desktop SC2 still crashes 100% of the time.) | ||
