"I'm running a little bit late, so hopefully he doesn't break me in half... ...I don't wanna get broken in half." I'm heartened by Inc's positive views of the game, though expecting some flamage for the WW2 comments (esp. when Nazgul stomps him, lol) Kev

Imagine how much boring all this would be if Incontrol just gave generic Korean pro-gamer answers.

Besides - hating against foreigners makes you look stupid, dk why some ppl out there think that stuff like that makes them look superior or that this is in any way funny. I get what Incontrol wanted to do with saying stuff like that, but I just think it makes him look ignorant and narrow-minded. It's just all about perception and if you say certain things, you should know how ppl that maybe aren't Americans (and there are a lot in the SC-Scene) take those statements in and begin to form opinions about you. Also, other ppl may not get the joke and simply be offended. This stuff seems to be happening all over the SC-Community, look at the Canada VS USA-Match. I think Rise is an awesome commentator, but some stuff he said on his cast really made think "c'mon dude - you really didn't need to say stuff like that." Allthough I'm neither Canadian, nor American. I mean, I don't wanna encourage any sort of censorship and I do think ppl should be able to deal with comments that offend them, but I just think it's bad for the ppl saying stuff like that and I don't know whether they realize this or not.

Woah there cowboy. It's obviously all in good fun, and the same goes with Rises commentary of the Canada vs USA match. Really, he played "America, Fuck Yeah", do you need any bigger hints that he's wasn't being serious?

Good interview, I think it would be sweet to get more before the tourney, though I'm not sure if anyone else is close enough for that to happen in person.

Anyways, great interview Incontrol! Was the 700 pound bench press with a bench press shirt, or without one? P.S. Would 700 pounds be the Oregon State record? I know it would be one at the school I go to.

I thin 770 is the world record no shirt bench so hehe ![]()

We were hoping to do the interview inside where it was more quiet but that didn't quite work out. We weren't actually 'kicked out'. Also, it was not very windy outside at ALL, didn't even notice there was a breeze until after the interview. My camcorder evidently has super sonic hearing though and it picked it up really loud. Now I know for next time! I left my actual list of questions in the car by accident so that's why my questions were a tad off. And lastly, Inc is a great guy and very fun to hang around with. He put up with our pestering afterward like a true champ and over all it was a great time.

But I don't think that this is what you should worry about when telling a joke. You should worry that people might get the joke and still be offended. That's when you need to be careful about the lines you're crossing.
