And I love Chill 101--I never even tried to play BW competitively and I started out bronze in the beta. Now I'm at 1200 in gold! I think the best part of it is having a specific practice goal, really. I play Zerg and I understand at a high level that larvae let me surge in economy or units if I need, and I should use that to my advantage, but that high-level concept doesn't really help me in the moment-to-moment play. Even the first 101 on macro was huge for me: just practicing getting as many units as fast as possible gives you concrete experience with overlord timing and how to get droned up for a third expansion (which is, for instance, something I used to do terribly by getting it up with no saturation). Then I can move on to thinking about other factors in the game. | ||

I think it was more powerful when the corruptors had it because then you had like 6 units who could cast it, and which you needed anyways vs colossi. | ||

The casting done with Day and Chill was simply superb and I'm liking what I see in SC2. Minus the a tad too frequent cursing that is (especially when your kid is behind you, who is by the way, very cool!) Also, something I feel would be worthy to discuss on your show is: what will we be seeing as key factors for each race in a year or two years from now? To give an example: for zerg I really feel that creep spreading isn't done well enough yet (see TLO's zerg, he does it better) and drops aren't used enough yet (see Idra vs Nony on metalopolis, idra does it well. I'm still waiting for a shot bet though.. | ||
