I was wonderind what settings are you using with your procaster ? Because the quality is really nice. I've tried tons of different settings, yet I can't reach your quality. That would be nice if you help me out. Thanks, and see you on your next show !  | ||

All toss players need to join up and post like crazy on the bnet forums... so frustrating. edit... oh yeah and a nice little boost to marauders. -Concussive Shells research cost decreased from 100/100 80 seconds to 50/50 60 seconds. What the hell is the balance of this game coming to. Every toss player is going to just get run over by early marauder armys. | ||

Battle.net went down in the middle of the show so I couldn't show the second replay and then immediately all of livestream.com crashed. I am so sorry, there is nothing I can do. | ||

Hey orb, Haven't watched all the shows, but these which I've seen seem to focus on Protoss and Zerg mostly. I'm sure all the terran (ez mode race  ) players would love to hear your advice! The game I posted is a TvP on Kulas Ravine (I am the Terran). I go bio ball, he goes immortal/storm. | ||

My new build vs terran is sort in the works and I would love some input / feedback from you on this one. My general goals in the build are: + Show Spoiler + Early Game Setup in front of my natural if its reasonable to do so Get some initial units but focus on teching to DT's. Basic build gate -> core -> twilight council -> gate -> dark shrine -> robo The idea is to have a smallish mixed force when I push. 1 immortal, 1-2 sentry, 1-2 stalkers, 2 dts and as many zealots as i can fit in by keeping minerals low. The dts when mixed in with a bunch of zealots tend to hide the hits the dts are doing and it hopefully mask that tech. Mid Game Right as I push I want to throw up an expansion and drop probably 3-4 more warp gates while adding on HT tech. Also a forge for upgrades to help keep money low. If I notice a bit of mech I may also research blink and go towards a higher percentage of stalkers to help with banshees, siege tanks etc. In general I've heard blink stalkers work well vs mech. Since I proxy my Templar tech away from my main to avoid early detection I think somewhere in the midgame is when I should be throwing down my 3rd, supporting my proxied tech. Late Game Here I figure is where I add in some collossi once i have some additional bases up. I figure it should be reasonable to put this off a tad since I move towards HT & psi storm to help with the mass bio. Here is the Replay Before you dive in to take a look I want to point out a few things I noticed. Initially my probe production wasn't the best (at one point we were tied on workers around the 15-16 worker count which is pretty bad as protoss) but i picked it up. At one point I was floating around 1200 minerals but it was right as I was fending of a semi big attack. I realize now I should have dropped mroe gateways as I saw the units coming in but for what its worth I use up the cash asap after fending off the attack. Also both me and my opponent expand, him a tad faster than I, and he is floating like 2000-3000 minerals for a long time yet his army's are constantly crushing mine. Relating to my goals; in the early game I was able to tech sufficiently but I probably should have gotten a few more zealots for my army a bit faster, somehow, mid-game i was never able to execute my push because of massive pressure from my opponent. Hope this replay / build shows some improvement on my macro as well as an opportunity for you to wax philosophical on protoss strategy in general for the show. Personally i would really appreciate an analysis of the concept of my build, dt micro both anything i did particularly correct or incorrect, what sort of production you think would work out for the 1st base & what would be best to add on after the expo, tips on using high templar (i know they can be devastating in the right hands so I'm trying to learn them). I'm a Zerg player. Whenever I Zealot rush and FE to the gold fields, I'm finding that my Marines can't back me up enough before my opponent masses motherships in the early/mid game. WTF am I doing wrong? | ||

I'd definitely like if Orb did some commentary on the new PvT, I've literally lost every PvT since the reset and won all other match-ups. I feel almost like just quitting in the beginning because I have no idea what to do, I am sure there is a way to beat even the current terran though, I don't think it can be that imbalanced. | ||

I'm the terran in this match and up I was ahead the whole game. I do know some of my flaws, but I need to know when I should and should not push. I lost this game because of that and my scouting. There may also be more to this because I am making a come back as I have not played an rts since starcraft came out and I played that until 2003. Any help is appreciated and good luck. Congrats on 1750 people on stream. Now you just need 250 more and you will have as much if not more then Day[9] has on a regular basis. | ||
