So is that because other games lack the number of casters trying to make it as in SC2? Or you just do not enjoy SC2 as much as other games?

Good to know, we are still discussing this (especially since we still have to figure out when the wedding will happen, damn conflicting schedules, it might not even happen this year -_-) but it is very likely we will have lots of people unable to attend (damn friends scattered across the globe) so we have this crazy idea to stream it. And we are nerds with a sense of humor. And we need a caster. You would get paid of course, and also be sent kisses and hugs.

I enjoy SC2 way more than other games. The majority of my fanbase does not. At the end of the day thisi s what I do as my full-time job. I can't go off on some whimsical desire to cast loads of SC2 when most of my fanbase wants to see WoW, DC Universe, Indie review content, hell I get more views on my DoW2 casts. It's about doing things in proportion to what my fanbase actually has. I have almost quarter of a mil subscribers, do you think it's fair to them if I dedicate the majority of my time to a game that only gets at max 40,000 views per video, when the others get closer to 100,000? No, it is not.

I'm not going anywhere, I'm just not oversaturating my channel and time with SC2 content when I have other things I need to concentrate on as well.

SC2 has a monsterous learning curve, the games take long, but they are rarely exciting until post 5 mins, and even then it's in small bursts. The average gamer just isn't interested in that, they want constant action and entertainment. It's like how every tech blog bashed the balls out of the Ipad because they "knew better". But sadly the majority of the consumer base just don't, and they saw a very easy to use device that did everything they needed. It was a massive success.

Totalbiscuit has been a name in WoW since it started (or I seem to recall someone named Totalbiscuit posting a lot on the forums in vanilla, might be wrong here), and as you might know WoW has a rather large following. Whether one is more exciting that the other is irrelevant, TB is huge in WoW and relatively large in SC2. It does make sense that he focuses on the one that has the larger fanbase, which is WoW.

I noticed that while sorting his uploads by "views". It took quite a few to get to the SC2 content. I'll probably be asleep for the matches between dignitas and fnatic, TB, any idea when your schedule will allow you to upload the vods?

There's no way watching Seananners talk about his new tattoo over some CoD footage that involves him getting the chopper gunner then shooting fish in a barrel for 6 minutes, but he has 500,000 subs that love it. People like different things, which is awesome, if a little strange sometimes.

A lot of people dont seem to understand that wow has 12 million subscribers, thats 4 times what sc2 has sold, therefore his fanbase will be larger anyways. The fact that hes been doing it since the start of WoW, that there aren't many other shows for WoW of the quality and entertainment value that Tb brings, just mean his fanbase, as a proportion of WoW players compared to his fanbase as a proportion of sc2 players, will make his sc2 casts not as profitable or desirable for the majority of his fanbase. I actually enjoy playing and watching WoW arena, not as much as SC2, but thats just my preference. I have friends in WoW who are the other way around, some prefer neither.

No, it is not. And to be fair it's kinda nice to have someone funny and well skilled in casting do such stuff for gaming overall. There are a lot great SC2 casters out there and you only casting occasionally won't be too bad. I've subbed to you just some time ago because there's other gaming stuff that interests me from time to time and thus I check out your vids in case they interest me. And I did recognize how few views your SC2 casts get in relation to your subscriber amount. Kinda a pity but one cannot help it. Anyways, good luck with everything. Really dig your ability to cast games appropriately and entertaining although you lack deeper game knowledge. You don't act like you know everything when you don't.

And rightly so. Looking forward to tonights show. ;D

Having said that, I really think he needs calm down a bit - and not get upset over every little incontrol joke. I do however understand his rage over the Assembly stuff
