criticism: the modding in your IRC is insane and stupid. not complaining about strictness (TL anyone?) but that wasn't reasonable anymore. i didn't get banned because i didn't even start talking, but banning people for saying "hello TB!" and harmless shit (or even for nothing at all) like that is just utterly disrespectful. | ||

I think actually that's the most hurtful thing anyone's ever said to me in terms of my casting, by a large margin  | ||

It's only his opinion on the subject, which is off course highly subjective. I myself sometimes think that you are overexcited but im pretty sure its genuine ^^. Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4 Game 5 Game 6 Game 7 On the subject of moderation. We had a bot in their logging everything, I've had the misfortune of reading it, it made me want to blow my brains out. The vast majority of bans/timeouts were completely justified and some of the quotes I have here are too vile to actually copy/paste, trust me, you do not want. I am talking to my admins about being more clear with what is and is not acceptable in the chat. Some of the people who whined to me via PM etc were actually outright insulting me in the chat so I'm not sure where they get off feeling like they're entitled to anything. There were some blatant mistakes however in moderation which resulted in bad behaviour, these will be corrected in future. I've spoken to my IRC and Justin.tv admin teams and rewritten the rules they came up with completely, simplifying them and instructing them to be very clear and decisive with their kick/ban reasoning. Justin.tv will be kept in slow-mode during live events to prevent excessive over-moderation that often results from the spam in chat. IRC has been unlinked from the Teamliquid stream window. You are more than welcome to continue using it but it won't be the official chat area from now on. | ||
