this seems to confirm two things: a)Terran looks like too nerfed. How is possible that he has almost 30 less players than toss and zerg? however is it true that game is new and pheraps we are not playing the game in the right way..but 30 players looks way too much.. b) only 22 random players= this means that learning curve for sc2 is not as easy as a lot was thinking. If the game is correctly balanced this number should slowly increase but never reaching the 50% of the of the players that are playing only a race. | ||

You have to remember that these stats are the player most played race, not his current race. For exemple I'm shown as protoss, but i no longer play them since a week. imho we will see a lot less toss and some more terran. | ||

Look at all the good names in history of European SC:BW and you'll find a shitton more Protoss' than Terrans. They are all switched and playing the same race it's not surprising there's more good P players regardless of balance. | ||

but to be honest, even if now a lot of more people in europe play sc2, i don't see us going to be as good as the koreans and chinese. i wonder when the chinese will get sc2, but to be honest i think they might get even better then the koreans. cause it's not only about talent (hell, even if it was, there is a big number of potential chinese players more than europeans/koreans) but about playing hardcore numbers of games. and as we know, there are a lot more asians trying hard to go pro, while europeans tend to play for fun and not as a job. | ||
