the main thing i can say is hit them early and constantly, don't let them breathe think or expand another important part is surviving the first wave, the "oh shit i only have 2 zealots or maybe a zealot and stalker, dont let those 6-12 lings scare you, they aren't much more than quick drones at that point. Pull some probes off to help defend if need be, or whirl your probes around once and back into your guys, i hate pulling off so i build in a way to trap them in with my lots *if* they go for my probes.
If they don't go for the easy win and lets say try to smash a key pylon then its a little harder to pull out the old W

It's been really slow for me. Super slow.

Don't think so. MLG just ended yesterday so I imagine he's flying back or just exhausted as he did just fly from Germany before that.

I require additional Day[9]!!!

You must construct additional Dailies!

lool. The laundry comment was hilarous =D Looks like it worked out for him though, day9 looked sharp @ MLG

He looked sharp because of his fancy pants makeup job.

Day[9] has talked about his motivation for doing all the Dailies and the tournament casting being born out of a passion for the StarCraft community; whether or not he earns money for his (incredible and extensive) efforts is trumped by his dedication. Considering he is a grad student (read: hefty tuition pricetag), a better question would be "How can he keep---or, in the case of Blip/uStream, make---his casts ad-free?"
From what I've seen, Day[9] has 5000+ fans for his Dailies, even disregarding the people that only watch the VODs or tournament casts. If all his fans donated even $2.00 a month for all the insight and hilarity we get, I imagine a high-res, ad-free (and, eventually, debt-free! ) Day[9] wouldn't be far behind.
Of course, if Mathematician, Pro-Gamer and Professional Commentator doesn't end up in paying the bills, at least he's got stand-up comic up his sleeve.
|
Wait, Day[9] is a math grad? I feel for him. I'm on that road too.
But if he is in a PhD program (not a masters) then he does not have a hefty tuition. Instead he has a very very *very* (oh god so very) thin stipend that's supposed to keep him alive until he proves himself worthy of being a doctor.
