In my experience, the zerg player would have just broken their rocks, or ran past me with lings and just killed my expo or main. I have a hard time dealing with speedlings or baneling busts followed by speedlings. I am usually held to 1 base and have trouble securing my expansion. How would Marrow handle it if Idra just ran past his reapers and hit his mineral line? I am platinum currently and having trouble getting better. This being one case.
How do they run past your wall in without your reapers killing them?

^Reapers with nitro handle zergling run-by pretty well especially in small numbers. So one cycle of the 5rax reaper would shut down the run by pretty quickly. Morrow might lose some mining time, but consider the attacking reapers: In the game on desert oasis the zerglings we're needed to due to their insane creep speed, leaving Morrow unable to advance into any base. Without the lings morrow could have gone for the main, before the roach speed was done. After the roach speed Morrow had started his Bioball (notice that unlike other terrans Morrow used marines as well as marauders instead of going only marauder) which would be able to deal with the lings.
EDIT: (post aimed at dundermuffin ofc)

To Yurie - I don't really have a problem securing my walled off main. It's the non walled expo that I have a problem establishing vs zerg. To ppont - Thank you for idea with the reapers. I'm guessing I just didn't have them in great enough of a number in the games I played. Also, what if Idra went straight muta instead of roach? Most zerg I play against go speedling into baneling into muta. Don't see a lot of roaches anymore.

The problem with the 5 rack reaper harass is that it forces you to build roaches, otherwise you will lose. Day9 has been talking about "forcing" lately. It basically means I'm going to build unit A, and if you do not build unit B, or C you will lose. An example would be a terran going banshee, and if the other terran doesn't build marines or a viking, he will lose.

Anyone else having problems watching #167 on blip.tv? keeps buffering every couple of seconds for me, left it for an hour and was barely half way through :/
|
Try using another browser. On Firefox it was kind of slow for me so I switched to google chrome which usually streams without any problem. Might be that.
Also day9 mentioned something about recording additional dailies... did laundry own him or can some yankee confirm that #168 was streamed?

I am surprised I have not seen any GIF yet from episode 166 (15m07sec "that's going to be a GIF, I know it")

Any chance to do a daily on a non-blizzard map? I've seen some games on a map called Argutaris a few weeks ago and the games seemed more interesting than on any map in the ladder.

Ugh Blip.tv has been so awful lately. I don't understand how every site except youtube fails at online video.

Google.

The iTunes feed (http://day9tv.blip.tv/rss/itunes/) seems to be somewhat broken currently -- recent episodes do not appear there, and many of the episodes download in iTunes as audio-only (without the video). Love the show, I'd really appreciate a fix!
