Best thing I've ever heard.

The bunny thing was so sad... truely touching... god man I wish my family was so supportive. Not just with starcraft but with everything in general.

I said outloud to my roommates "ladies and gents, I have just finished my first batch of flawless cinnamon rolls!" I then plunged the hot pan directly into my left arm like a retard and dropped them on the floor. 5 second rule. They were delicious.
WUT, you didn't tell me that when you offered them to me >:[. I usually eat like 3, but for some reason I didn't feel like eating cinnamon rolls that day.

These are the kinds of story you make your grandkids listen to.
Hell, I'd make my grandkids listen to these stories and I'm not even day9.

Another TL lurker here.
Thank you day[9]. #100 was beautiful

I'm going to try and resist my normal urges to type an essay-length post and keep this succinct: Thank you for episode 100, but more importantly thank you for your constant enthusiasm you share with the community. I wish everyone could find something that they're as passionate for as you are for StarCraft and it's scene.

Thanks for the great 100th episode Day[9]! It was a great watch . . . Best of luck becoming the E-Sports ambassador =)

Thank you man! Truly EPIC #100

That was incredible man. As a fellow old school player, I bought the game when I was in grade 7, 12 years ago, also due to the hype from War2 which I had played and got massively addicted to after playing it at my cousins house, and that was just the demo lol.
Its sorta weird to admit, but I had some tears in my eyes when you were explaining the stuff with your brother. Damn. That shit really got me. I have a sibling as well, though not really in gaming, but someone whom I feel incredibly close and I think the connection you two share is pretty amazing, and I can relate.
I could write down so much more shit and whatever, but I'll keep it concise. Thanks man, it was really something. I always thought you were pretty awesome, but I was introduced to you through the Chill-Combat-EX match, and ever since then, I've been a fan. Dream commentator team of the Brothers Plott.

Absolute respect, you deserve all the success in the world.

Dear Day[9],
Thank you for the sheer awesomeness you have brought to this community. Your 100th show was a great success. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it really got to me. You have been through a lot, and I'm glad you endured it all! The Plott genes are genuinely kickass. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.

I finally registered an account (like, it seems, many other people) because I felt I had to thank day9 for his work, and particularly daily cast #100. Day, your story paralleled my own in many ways, and your thoughts on the importance of the support of your family, and particularly your brother, really got to me. I had a very close friend with whom I could nerd out and play endless hours of computer games in middle school through high school, particularly starcraft and then an ancient Bungie game called Marathon II. We played that game like mad, and eventually played in a small tournament at a Macworld expo in which we were forced to (inevitably) play to eliminate each other in the very first round. It was a terrible let down to have to beat him to advance, but when it was over he was still my best friend, and we went on to play some dominant 2v2 and took home some really minor prizes (Total Annihilation, as I recall- I think we exchanged our copies for unreal: tournament).
Anyway, my point is, your experience as a truly dedicated nerd and the passion a game and the social interactions it can produce are something I deeply relate to, and I've been following your casts from day[1]. After many years of not playing SC, it was stumbling across youtube commentaries of korean pros that brought me back, and now your casts are something I look forward to as I work on building my skills in the SC2 beta.
And that childhood friend with whom I spent some of the happiest all-nighters of my youth hauling our crappy old desktop macs to one location and networking with appletalk in an endless electronic rivalry? Now my housemate 12 years later, and learning sc2 right along with me to continue the cycle. So thanks, and keep at it- I know I'll do my part to keep trying to show my housemates and friends and family the depth and beauty of competitive SC and SC2.

Wow, that was an amazing episode, thanks so much for everything you've done for those people like me who want to learn how to play. Watching your streams and casts has been a great experience. Thanks for all the hard work.
