You know you watch too much day9 when...
1. You subconsciously lapse into the day9 facial expressions you see when his stream lags 2. You can make every single unit noise almost as good as day9 can. 3. Day9 livestream overtakes teamliquid in your most visited websites that pop up whenever you open a new tab. 4. Your act/sat essay is a collection of day9 anecdotes. 5. You are more familiar with the t-shirts in day9's wardrobe than he is himself. 6. You can name the songs played before each episode. 7. Friday becomes your least favorite day of the week because you know there are three days before the next episode. 8. Your worst nightmares involve green tea and day9 getting a haircut. 9. You would give your first born child to have day9 pick your question to answer after a streaming episode. 10. You send day9 your extra sc2 beta key, because he might be having problems with the other 26 keys people have sent him.

Day9 keep up the good work!
I never watch TV, but I always watch the Day9 daily!

If they keep this garbage up, I'm never streaming with them again. I've posted my grievances, everybody should talk about the problems they are having so hopefully they will be fixed faster. If not, LS is going to lose a lot of custom.

not sure if you'll ever actually read this but you should consider trying to get an own3d.tv stream.. never seen it be a piece of shit like livestream at least and it has the best quality of any i've seen.

Do it people. Maybe it'll work the same way as IdrA got his prize money.

Hi guys, I had a question from an older Daily, which Day9 or anyone could answer:
I just finished watching 3/8 Day[9] Daily #0084 Starcraft 2 ZvP Timings and Openings, where in the second game the protoss player was successful when using the 5 pheonix push, which was able to kill the two queens, and then kill each hydralisk as it was popped. I'm wondering what the correct counter for that was supposed, to be, as the zerg had scouted the stargate so knew what was coming. Day9 said during the commentary that the lair was quite fast, so I'm not sure what the zerg player was supposed to have done if he couldn't have had the hydras out much sooner. What was the zerg player's mistake in that game? Thanks

@tyir - I would just go for a spore colony in each base, they only cost 75 minerals and he can't lift them into the air.

The thing is that Livestream used to be, by far, the best option out of the three major streaming services. I'd watch justin.tv and ustream and they'd be laggy, with terrible quality. Now Livestream is having all these lag issues and it's incredibly frustrating since it used to be so great.
...although I think it's really, really funny that Day[9] is singlehandedly making livestream run out of bandwidth.
|
@Newguy, that makes sense to me, but I'm wondering why the player in the example match never bothered with even an evo chamber. I guess he figured he'd have his hydra out in time?
|
maybe he thought voidrays, or just didn't consider the lifting strategy? Other than that, I would have no idea why you would avoid the spore, it allows you to save money by getting hydras later and upgrades earlier.

2-3% of livestream's traffic comes directly from teamliquid.net linkins

check your version of flash player, I have found that on firefox I cannot update to the version they list. This might be a source of the lag issues for some.

Hey day[9], would it be possible to upload your videos onto youtube? I'd like to dump them into my itouch so I can view the videos during my 0-internet weekdays.
|
I don't know anything about other streaming services but if there were a better pay to use one I'm sure you could get enough donations to run it for at least two years. It might be a pain to upload all the videos again but I don't have much faith in livestream. They have so many problems.

Hey,
It would be so nice if someone could write down all the good infos/strategies Sean is providing in his streams. Expanding this idea, it could be little recaps of each episode highlighting the major points, etc.
