edit: I also just found this. He is obviously mid masters, yup.

If anyone has any questions on the current replays and/or requests for different builds in certain matchups (I will execute the build, save the replay and post in Replay Pack #2), post them here.
I am thinking that I will be releasing 2 packs a month - once every ~ 2 weeks. However, if interest is high, I may consider releasing more.
Thanks for the attention! Let me know if I can help you out with anything!

This is a weird request, but if you happen to lose vs skytoss, can you post reps of that for the less zergy of us?

Skytoss isn't very effective - however, of the games that I lose, the protoss player turtles on maps where they can defend 4 bases on 1 choke and cannons up. Keep in mind that you should also be teching to high templar - once protoss gets up a sufficient number of high templar and air units, there is next to nothing zerg can do to win an engagement (so base trade only real option)

What would you say (from a zerg POV) is the most effective way to play PvZ right now?

Well what he said was pretty dead on. Try to turtle and be defensive while getting voidray/tempest/templar. I don't think a zerg army will ever beat that composition and like glon says is the scariest protoss composition.
Zergs goal is to try and stop you protoss scum from getting there

I would suggest going for a FFE, followed up with stargate play. Get out either pheonix or oracles (hide them until 2-3 oracles or 4 pheonix), then go harass. Follow up with fast collosus, take a third. Defend, pressure with warp prism. Do a fake 3 base push out to take your third. Begin adding on stargate units while teching to storm. Play out the game from there (at this point in the game if you can force a direct engagement, you will win).

Hey Glon! seen almost all replays, and it was very interesting and educating experience xD. However I wish you could add some ZvZ muta vs muta games, or just few more games where you take advantage going muta. I also struggle a lot with MMM play with hardcore drops and early pushes, maybe you could demonstrate how to defend that without losing too much or sth. Besides that, thanks for sharing your replays, very good job. also did you start streaming already? if so could you send a link to your stream? thanks

i'm so envious of you guys being able to beat this style. i am so confident against every other style, idk what it is. on this beta the oracles and air units just really mess my mental up.
In standard games i normally use roach hydra macro but i have found these units to be dead supply virtually against this composition. i have tried to rinse and repeat with just maaaaas corruptor (moving them in from side angles) but i just cannot kill anything. nothing from the army dies. I beat two EU Gm's yesterday morning in macro zvps where i took some dmg early on, and then i sign on to HOTS and lose to low masters massing the new air units .... is there honestly no way to beat this army? IT eggs can do it in theory i think but I am interested in what you are saying about base trading. i never tried the base trade style against this except for maybe a few games because they have air units and that seems kind of hard to win in that scenario,, i would appreciate replays as well. i saw your game vs dragon on star station (base trade, very weird), and i wanted to say bravo and thanks for a good thread (glon)

I doubt it that anything can beat it in the Zerg's arsenal(for now). It seems that you have to destroy the Protoss before he reaches that composition, and I would say that Zerg got a lot of things he can use to do that. Things like drops/Nydus/Mutas/Swarm Hosts etc. I just feel like it, I am not a pro, so I could be wrong. It also depends on the map a lot.

Most if not all zerg pro's will agree with you that they don't know how to beat that composition as of right now.

I've had trouble with MMM + widowmine? what is the best unit composition here?
I just find that roach/hydra, just loses to mmm, and ultras stand no chance vs marauders and widowmines. I'm assuming that broodlords would be a decent answer but with so many star ports a viking transition would be easy at that point.

Thank you for posting these replays, Glon. I am going to cast them this Wednesday 9am-11am CET for my show.

How is saying you're Rank 1 GM bragging if well...that's what you're ranked? To be honest, he can brag if he wants too; he's earned the right to. Anyway, sharing replays is a great marketing tactic to get people to watch his stream and there's nothing wrong with that either.
