Is there any special achievement for completing In Utter Darkness mission on Brutal with the +750 kills? I already have it from hard, but was wondering if there is a feat of strength or something from doing the same on brutal.

Oddly, I found it easier to do on Brutal. Maybe because most people do the Brutal runs last and have more SC2 experience under their belt, or maybe because the wave timings and composition are more conducive to certain play styles.

That mission is a lot harder if you don't have a good enough computer to allow you to micro properly when there's a million units on the screen lol

Also, on brutal, there seems to be longer streams of lower tier units, which an experienced campaign player would know how to deal with quickly by the time they play brutal, just as Dimagus said. Also, if you're ever wondering if something is a Feat of Strength Achievement,

No achievement. But you do need to complete all the mission objectives to have it count as a fully completed mission. So you have to kill 750 units anyway.

@ Sanguinarius, To count it as a fully completed mission you need 2500 kills. Not 2500 + 750. Or am i mistaken?

the achievement is to kill 750 additional units, so if you were to do it in brutal, you would indeed have to kill 3250

Yeah, you are correct.

The achievement is for +750 in normal. (it can be completed in brutal)

For brutal you just need to beat the mission, no extra kills.

I thought it was easier on brutal. I couldn't even get the +750 on normal, but I managed to get it easily on brutal when I did it. The experience helps I guess.

I started on brutal, just made Void Rays and winbuttonned it back when they did 10-25. Got to 5k easily, and no special achievement.

Multi-player patches do not affect single player. Void Rays are unchanged for the campaign.

If you have a save post image, i doubt getting over 3800 is possible in brutal, once u hit 3500 you simply lose units faster than you can remake them, also money runs out.

Am I missing something? Winbuttoning Voidrays back when zergs do a 10-25?

He never said anything about zergs doing "10-25." He's talking about the damage levels of voidrays.

I think on Brutal its easier because there is a lot of units before a huge flood of troops arrive and i get 1FPS. Therefore more score.

I did it on brutal without Dts and gold at all.
