For everyone who's stuck at 25/26, you need to go back to Media Blitz and unlock the Secret Mission by destroying the Science Facility in the southeast. It's on a platform extending out from behind the mineral line of the Dominion expansion. I'm not sure if you can unlock it successfully after beating the campaign, though, so you may have to reload from a save. i took it from some other guy here in TL forum. | ||

One thing to note; unless you want to play through the last few levels of the campaign again, be sure to start a mission from the mission archives screen of your completed campaign and save that, because otherwise you will be forced to play through the campaign again from the secret mission forward. Cheats are a no-go, they disable achievements for your ENTIRE CAMPAIGN. | ||

Cheats are a no-go, they disable achievements for your ENTIRE CAMPAIGN. what? you sure it counts towards the portrait unlocking? i played the first few missions on normal then i started playing on brutal and after i beat the game i went back and played the levels i played on normal on brutal and then i loaded a old save and did the secret mission but i dident get any portraits even if i have have done every single mission on brutal but not on a single save edit : never mind, it turns out because i disconnected from a mission i had to replay it for it too count towards getting portraits unlocked | ||

I've moved the replay into campaign, and Ive tried: Using thor to get the item pickup and abandoning mission - No New Map Using Thor to get the item pickup, completing mission - No New Map Using army to get the item pickup - completing mission - No New map -_- | ||

Well, once you load your saved game, get the item with whatever you want and it should unlock a new mission marked "secret mission" on the star map on the bridge of the Hyperion, if you indeed loaded the ongoing campaign. | ||

There are 29 missions total, but there are 3 places in the game where you're given the choice between two options. Therefore, there are 26 missions in a regular play through, and you have to do the remaining 3 through the mission archive. The secret mission can't be accessed through the archive though, which is what people in this thread are having problems with. | ||

1. missed out on the secret mission 2. Currently at the point before the Char mission 3. So.. I went back to media blitz and got the secret mission, but using a past save file 4. By using the past save file I am wayyy back from my current status point.. If i were to finish the secret mission and then load back my current save point (before char), do I still get the secret mission as "finished"? Or does that not work because my "current save" file did not have the secret mission done.. Or does that not even matter?? does that mean doing different missions on different save files all eventually land in one place at the end?? If not.. is the only way to get all 29 missions done by essentially playing the whole game 3 times so you go through all 3 options for the 29 total missions? | ||

Completed the Campaign. Replayed the 3 missions which take a different path. Loaded MediaBlitz(3).SC2 from C:\Users..........73\Saves\Unsaved Got and beat secret level Quit campaign And I still did not get the achievement. If I load my Save 1 I can confirm that I completed 28 misssions, counting them manually from top to bottom. If I load my Save 2 I can confirm from the archives on the bridge that I have completed "Piercing the Shroud" But still did not get achievement...any help? | ||

It might not have been the case for the US server, but during launch on SEA server achievements kept going down, and as such some of the missions I've passed, even though it CLEARLY says I have passed them, haven't given me the achievement for them and hence no portrait. | ||

*check the mengsk portrait achievement and see if you are missing the level "unveiling the shroud" or w/e ^if so read ahead. unveiling the shroud is a "secret mission" you have to unlock on the "media frenzy" level with the thors. there is a science facility in the southeast that you can kill that will reveal hidden documents and unlock the secret level. the level is actually quite crucial to the story -i copied this from my other post on another thread, search forums before reposting the same question! | ||

Then you start a mission, and save it. Then inside the mission, you load your new Media Blitz save, and you go to the bottom right hand corner to destroy the neutral building After you have finished the next mission you will get all your missing portraits, you load your earlier save, and quit the campaign. You now have your portraits, but it still says 25/26, if you find that unacceptable, you have to finish all th emissions after media blitz from your media blitz save (i think, cba) At least i have my bellowed kerrigan portrait Really weird to make the missions this way, shouldn't be a secret mission, should be a part of the story, i was all wtf'ed up when i didn't get my portraits at the end. edit: seems you have to do teh same with a save of teh "All In" when youa re done, or it will just go to teh cantina when you are done. i finished all in (witha little extra because of the secret mission  only a little), and got the credits again, i hope it says 26/26 nowedit2: it doesnt, still can't revisit the secret mission... whatever. this is dumb anyway | ||

EDIT: another question, if i just make a new campaign and beat it on brutal, will i unlock all the stuff for the other modes (easy, normal, hard)? and i would get to keep all my mission achivements right? EDIT: is there any downside to restarting the campaign other than it takes xtra time? bump EDIT: so i did all those steps, re-loaded and killed vessal, why dont i have my secret mission unlocked? | ||
