Yesterday confirmed so many things I have been saying all season! - Bayern got a lot of points in the first part of the season and I was the only one really saying that their performances sucked and Kane just kept bailing them out. - Tuchel is so bad for loaning out Stanisic because he didnt rate him (surprise, surprise Bayern bought 2 emergency players this winter for covering their defensive line) - He also decided to play back 3 for the very first time this season with half of the players not being good enough to be first team starters (Boey, Dier, Pavlovic) and also starting a not fit Upamencano while benching quality players in De Ligt, Kimmich, Müller, Guerreiro - Xabi Alonso while also changing his shape did not sacrifice his idea of football, again proving how good of a trainer he is - Müller has been of the best players of Bayern this season and Tuchel doesnt rate him at all

That's having finished 3rd in their group, with a 4-0 loss, and having sacked their manager half way through the tournament.

He strikes me as the latter, but it’s still early doors. There’s an interesting tidbit about Erling Haaland in that he is a physical monster now, but actually was rather a late developer in that respect. So when he was younger he couldn’t just coast on his physical gifts and developed a lot of other gifts, intelligent movement and whatnot to compensate. So the theory goes anyway. The ideal footballer is probably someone who developed while being a physical midget and then grows to be a monster physical specimen. It’s like playing with the underpowered race and being good enough to compete, then switching to the OP one

They are playing really strong football and PSG is not a juggernaut anymore You want a source for that or what? xD Betting sites have Leipzig - Real a lot closer than PSG - Sociedad for example. In my book, Sociedad winning this is an upset. If you see it different, that's is fine with me EDIT: Bayern also don't play top notch football right now and have some unrest with Tommy Tuch. I still don't see them losing this. Odds are about the same as PSG - Sociedad

Man City are favs. Real is in top form and Leipzig sucks as a whole concept. PSG depends on egos and mood but should win this. Bayern will win even due to luck. I dont know anything about Lazio though.

All 4 are 70-30 or more for the favorite team imo. The other 4 matchups are a bit more even, although I think only Inter-Atletico is anything resembling a tossup.

The Athletic article At this stage, it's actually going to be Germany and Italy that get the bonus CL spots, not England. Mostly because Man United and Newcastle bombed out in last place in their CL groups. Spain are also in with a chance still. It all depends on how deep the surviving teams in each competition go. When it comes to the remaining European competitions, Man United fans are incentivised to barrack for Liverpool and Man City, Spurs fans are incentivised to barrack for Arsenal ![]()
