Stuff is rarely 'decided' until we're at something like matchday 35+. This season feels like one of those.

But I think City have shown time and time again that if you give them an opening they will not lose a single game to take the title home.

So imo once the H2H games are done and City is within 3 points of first place the league is decided.

I always find it hilarious when the pundits etc. claim things like 'If Liverpool beat Arsenal today their title challenge is over' in November or some shit.
It happens every year and its just as ridiculous every time.

Arsenal's title challenge would have been over with a loss 100%.
The pundits didnt say it last January with Arsenal where everyone expected their lead to be enough. I said in January it was over and I was right. And this is not a stupid lucky guess.

Dont underestimate what Liverpool and City have done the last 5 years. Klopp has reached more points every season than Ferguson EVER did. And yet only one title

Worst performance of the season by us today and it's not even remotely close. I was happy to emerge from the first half with a lucky handball own goal (which was hilarious), felt like we had control of the 2nd half but then Klopp made changes and it sort of derailed our momentum.

Combination of some players not being the most fit (Trent looked VERY sluggish) and also some tactical errors (weak press with Gakpo and Gravy, but then still playing a high line? Should've just played a low block style which Arsenal notoriously cannot break).

Oh well, we move on, but now we're behind City. A win here would've really seen us take control of the title race but now we might be in a fight for second with Arsenal.

City and Liverpool play each other in 4 weeks. Until then nothing is decided IMO

It's not but even if Liverpool beat City, it's still not over for City. They will reliably win their matches, but Liverpool can be Liverpool and drop points to random teams. If City win, then it's almost guaranteed to be over. That's just what teams have to do to compete with Pep's City.

We can't afford to drop any more points the rest of the season. It's simple as that. We need to do what we did in the beginning of 19/20.

Well I'll take that one back then. Still the exaggeration was a bit egregious for my taste. Especially if you consider that the other 2 seasons were not even close to the necessary threshold (even the better one being 20 points of the mark).

Yeah it was a silly exaggeration. The fact is Fergie has a better average point per game in the premier league than Klopp does. Guardiola has him beat but Fergie is still #2 on the all time ppg list.

How many points per financial fair play breach does Guardiola have?

We have several Japanese and Koreans as S11 in European's top leagues and both bomb out. What a disgrace

klinsmann is absolutely wank and it's such a shame he is the one responsible to seeing what will most likely be korea's most talented player ever through the next world cup cycle.

What a game! I'd argue it was not just the best German football has to offer but it was an outstanding performance from both teams that European football in general has to offer.
But I'm unsure if it was wise for Leverkusen to play that game at the limit. They have to play Bayern on Saturday and if they lose this, they lose the league.

The Messi malarkey in Hong Kong and Japan has been vastly amusing to follow. Such a disproportionate response. I laughed hardest at the local government demanding an explanation for why he didn't play through a hamstring injury for the sake of a worthless exhibition match

I don't like Messi and don't normally feel sorry for him but getting booed for being injured is utterly ridiculous

When you see so many Germans on the pitch giving it their all you have to wonder if not the wrong Germans are playing for the national team...

I really hope hoeness will confirm this season in the years to come!
