The way WNT presented it was kind of straightforward "Equal pay!" and I never saw them elaborating any further than hashtags and the issue definitely is more complex than just that. So far the attempts at deeper analysis & discussion I've seen have not looked particularly favorable for the WNT. I can see there being interest for downplaying the issue, but I don't think I've seen the WNT presenting their case well enough past the initial hashtags either. There are a few but here's one that I remember reading. https://time.com/5653250/uswnt-equal-pay-lawsuit/ You don't see the WNT "presenting their case well enough" because they didn't hire lobby firms to present their case.

They would have not been more sucsessful and would have been paid a lot less. Math isn't hard. wtf? offering the same terms is literally making an equal offer. if you're saying the womens team still stood to make a different amount of money to the men after receiving the same contract, well thats not the ussf's problem

Sporting world waking up to this too. Hopefully we'll hear from UEFA regarding CL finals and some international qualifiers today or tomorrow at latest.

I mean I'd hope so, but is there anything official on it yet? The statement on UEFA's twitter from a few minutes ago doesn't say anything that concrete.

https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-soccer-sports-russia-beijing-aaaf250ea6cb03096354a63b1681a2e0 Which then has as headline "will withdraw" and in the text "will discuss about withdrawing". So yes, you are probably right, and this is some shitty version of everyone escalating the previous guys words further.

Speaking of PL, I'd like to see ManU stopping any Aeroflot cooperation, but let's just say I'm not exactly holding my breath.

And why do I think he has british passport nowadays anyways, probably making it a whole lot more difficult legally if he were to be targeted. Did he not have to leave the country for a bit and returned via an Israeli passport? If memory serves anyway, I don't think he has a British one but might be wrong there

Pretty good week for the league all round for annoying neutrals like me, Liverpool look to be making it a title race and Arsenal amongst a reasonable pack are making the race for fourth intriguing too.
