He's a decent finisher with an excellent work rate, good as a target man, but not a brilliant technical player. May be well suited for Burnley since they play a low block...but he's not that different from Vincent Janssen whom we all laughed at at Tottenham, he could suffer from the increase in size and speed of defenders in the PL.

I think Haaland is already a Madrid player personally. Perez is going nuts in the summer, he hasn't spent in a while, the Spanish spending rules will be loosened due to the financials not playing off the covid ones and he want the best players in his club to take to the super league.

Mbappe Haaland and Vini Jr front 3 next season i think, add in Pogba on a free in midfield as well and those 3 players cost him a total of £65 million xD (Vini Jr was signed as a kid and that has already paid for itself)

The Haaland-Mbabbe combo feels like some football manager experiment. Plenty of firepower, but I've got no clue if their roles compliment each other even the slightest. They also need to sort out some kind of midfield that'll work together with that and some kind of wage structure to go with all of it.

Everton sign Alli as well as VDB, so he can probably Van the Bench there too? That would be a super sad scenario for him...but I don't see how they play both in a 4-4-2, or even 5-4-1.

Any chance that Lampard could be planning some system with some sort of #10 role there? You'd have Alli there as initial starter and VDB as rotation and challenger for the position.

While it defo screams football manager x fifa, i think Mbappe has shown he can play "outwide" though and Real Madrid always play attacking wingers who don't exactly put a shift in going backwards. So Mbappe outwide and Haaland up top works, i don't see Mbappe as a 9 anyway, he doesn't scream holding up the ball or strong in the air though.

How did Auba look in his later Arsenal games? Is he going to jump back to form when motivated or is it a more iffy thing? With a 32-year-old speedster in bad form feels like it can go both ways.
