You have to ignore the whiners and just do whats best because perfection is the enemy of progress and also there is a ton of idiots.
They should also tell the refs not to make the burden 100% but more like 80% or something but that xan be figured out. At some point we have to realize that the refs can not make every call and telling whether the helmet hit a shoulder pad or a guys head in real time is pretty freaking hard. And also mistakes just happen. The tech aint perfecy but it is still better.

But if the refs are almost never going to reverse their calls, coaches will stop challenging those calls. Games will just get longer for no reason until it goes back to status quo once coaches stop challenging. That's a huge reason why it didn't work out.

I mean who is not going to throw a flag on a game ending strip sack even with a 5% chance.
Im not saying it fixes everything but why is worse to add that mechanism and talk to the refs about it, rather then just talk to the refs about it?
Also roughing the passer is usually more cut and dry. Like if the helmet hits face first it is, if it hits shoulder it is not. There is grey area on the throwing to the ground and landing on stuff but some are pretty yes no.

Where do you all think Rhule will end up now that he's jobless? I'm hoping Mickey Joseph succeeds and gets the HC job, but who knows what will happen by the end of the season. I think Rhule ends up at Wisconsin if he wants to coach college again. They have the talent and depth Nebraska is currently lacking. I think 1-2 more years for Nebraska to get back to where they're going bowling every year, depending on the HC hire of course.
Tomorrow we face Purdon't, so we'll see if the D can keep up their improvement, or if it was all window dressing.

Rhule is probably going to try and wait for an SEC job I think. Or Oklahoma if they suck next year. Maybe he will jump the gun on something like Colorado or Nebraska, but that is just a guaranteed fail IMO.

I don't know which SEC job he would go for that isn't a work in progress like every other conference. Auburn?

Everyone seems to think auburn is going to throw the bank at him
|
I'd love for him to go down there just to play spoiler to Bama at the end of the year.
|
I'd go else where, you can constantly be the best team in other leagues, SEC is murders row.
|
Big12 is really the only place left.

Bama setting all sorts of penalty records under Saban this year. Tennessee screw up and not put them away though?

Strong stable conference with a likely playoff spot guaranteed to its winner. The top 3 programs in the conference are all in the East
ACC coastal would be easier path if you think the acc survives realignment. Literally only have to win 1 tough game per year (Clemson In acccg) unless you’re GT who has to play Clemson and Georgia yearly in reg season

Tennessee is letting Bama stay with them and it'll come back to bite them in the 4th I think. But damn, Saban is going to probably talk to a few kids about transferring with the amount of stupid that's happening.

Big 10 west is going to get stronger when the Pac-12s current top two teams join it.

judging by the final score you'd think it was a big 12 game lmao

Georgia murders both easy.

Nebraska put up a good fight, too bad it wasn't enough. The OL is just too horrible to get anything established. Run game isn't even considered most of the time.
|
Georgia has the last good SEC defence.
