I was no lie, pretty scared. When I saw him freeze up, my heart skipped a beat and I'm not even a Miami fan. Could have seen a man die on that field. Hope he makes a full recovery and retires.

Before I saw the replays, I thought he landed awkward on his hand and injured some fingers. Miami is certainly going to get questions on whether he really suffered a concussion last week.

That injury is way more than just a concussion. That looked spinal. If he doesn't retire, he's asking to be paralyzed one day.

Spinal is possible. I mentioned concussion because there is a question of what happened last week. And people who are still recovering from a concussion are more susceptible to getting another one. I don't know if that's the case for a spinal injury.

His arms and fingers were a fencing response which is indicative of a concussion or brain injury. It’s a reflex response to force on the brain. If it was a spinal cord injury he would have been limp

I watched another vid this morning stating that it was more than likely a very serious brain injury. Something called "Second Impact Syndrome". So it could have been from his head injury last week. I say spinal because of the way his hands responded, meaning that in the moments after the injury, his hands were already "locked" in that position. For once, I'm glad to be wrong if it isn't spinal.

Miami is probably fucked. Both NFL and NFLPA.

This is disgusting more than when RG3 was put back out on the field. It wasn't a hard hit or anything dirty he just hit the ground lightly. I have no words.

Isn't it the independent whoever that should be under scrutiny?

Also this is more the NFLPA 's fault than just about any other party. If they aren't vetting the evaluators properly to save players from themselves, they are literally not performing on of thier main functions.

Looks like changes are coming to the NFL's concussion protocol. Everybody who watched TNF this week should see an independent neurologist for possible brain damage.

We saw how that will play out when they made PI reviewable. In nearly every case, the refs will not overturn their initial ruling and fans will be upset as they watch what is clearly overturnable evidence right on the jumbotron over and over again until the refs make their announcement.

Don't they already have centralized review? What does that even cover anymore? Not just roughing, but PI too. The offense shouldn't be rewarded for off-target throws. If the receiver has to adjust their route and end up bumping into a defender, that shouldn't be PI.
