The problem isn't work in progress, its just disastrous institutions or silly expectations. Auburn is as good a place to go as any because you can actually meet the insane expectations there. Its just Saban exists so you have it rough. Nebraska needs a good coach and reform of the school as a whole and probably reform of the fans. Colorado needs a good coach, and that coach needs the ability to fire every other non-professor that works at the school.

I think it's time the Cardinals kick Kingsbury to the curb. The offense is embarrassing. The playcalling is predictable and awful. The team's coaching staff structure on the offensive side is also mind boggling. Hopkins is back next game which should improve things, but 3 offensive points against a defense as bad as Seattle's is not a personnel problem. It's a coaching problem.

Either one could leave and I'd be happier. Both could leave and I'd be over the moon

How much time does Russel Wilson have left to prove he isn't a complete bust in Denver?
It should not be that surprising, he was never great at quick releases for short and intermediate gains, and he always had some excellent underrated recievers in Seattle.

I'd say another year. Let trades and the draft happen, See who the team goes after. After that is he's still ass...welp, sucks to suck Denver.
CMC traded to the 49ers. Gurley all but retired. Brady and the Bucs are playing like ass.

I was going to post about Brady retiring before our eyes. Then before clicking post, I added Rodgers. Then Wilson. Then Ryan. This season is geezerfall.

This season is not like anyone expected. I actually really like that the New York teams are finally clicking.
Big game tonight with Giants vs Hawks, should be a nail biter, 500+ running yards between the 2?

We are also starting down the barrel of Oregon vs. Ga/Tenn wailing.

The first poll should be measuring what the teams are and have done so far that year, not last year. It will sort itself out the rest of the year.
I don't think Oregon has such a strong case. The Pac 12 isn't that good and will be crappier once their top competitors this year move to the Big 10.

Still nothing on if Nebraska will make Mickey Joseph the head coach or not. I think they're going to wait to see how next week vs Michigan goes before they make a decision. If they had upset Illinois, he'd probably have been hired the next day as HC. Play #5 Michigan close and avoid an ass beating, and I think he stands a better chance. Get blown all the way out and he's not gonna get it. I don't really have a preference after him. Rhule maybe?

I'm amazed at how questionable the qb play in the NFC is, even among playoff contenders. Jalen Hurts looks legit but Geno Smith and Kirk Cousins have been the 2nd/3rd best so far and I'm not sure I can really trust either one of them in the playoffs. Dak Prescott is back but the Cowboys were doing decently well with Cooper Rush subbing in. Giants are still crap at qb. Mariotta is somehow leading the division. SF is carrying Jimmy G as usual. And Heinecke has Washington at a tie for the last playoff spot.
Meanwhile, if the playoffs started right now, Brady, Rogers and Stafford would be missing it.

Bears got robbed so hard on the last pass play. The ref was standing right there and didn't throw the flag for FLAGRANT PI. That probably cost the bears the game.
