The MP leading the review is Tracey Crouch. She is a woman of integrity, who forced the government into making gambling legislation a couple of years ago. To do so she had to stand up to not only members of her own government (who were in the pockets of the bookies), but the incredibly wealthy business interest surrounding gambling in the UK. She resigned to get legislation forced through and was successful. We couldn't have asked for anyone better imo. | ||

The other 14 teams will be playing in a crippled league with no revenue power. The Premier League isn't worth 1/6th as much domestically, and basically nothing globaly without the top 6. Basically no one will pay to watch La Liga without Real Madrid and Barcelona. Only domestic viewers will pay for the Italian League without the big three... PSG is the only club in a win win situation if they join, thats a no brainer right there. The only domestic league worth anything will be the German one, though I wonder if RB Liepzig will join and reap the benifits of the only place in Germany you can watch the biggest clubs in the World. I'm just so dissapointed in Chelsea, somehow I thought it would miss us... will not watch a single game after this season (edit:if this shitshow goes through), even with our european semifinal place this is a bitter pill to swallow. And my second favorite team, Inter Milan is in it too... So I guess, yay Leeds from now on until Chelsea reforms in the lower leagues? Though I might just stop watching non-Serbian football entirely. On the other hand this opens up some spots for more Serbian clubs in the CL. Nice. | ||

Im sure some of you guys watch some tier two english championship games but that doesnt sell cable packets. Sure, protest views will be high at the beggining but the quality of football will take a sharp dive when the money stops flowing and the best players get poached for peanuts. I dont watch the Bundesliga and I still wont watch it after it becomes the top domestic league in the World. I've got my own Serbian league club a kilometer away from my appartment. Id rather go watch that with my son, eat seeds or something for two hours and watch my shitty league than watch someone elses shitty league. My two cents. | ||
