He's a top 10 player who really struggled last year and had to deal with all the playoff PG meme's. I wonder if he will be able to quiet the critics of if the pressure will get to him? He's not a top 10 player.

Here is Andre the Giant getting showered with debris for more than 1 minute from 1:35 to 2:45. when you're playing "the antagonist" silliness like this happens. In philly, westbrook is the antagonist. Ken "The Rat" Linseman became an iconic figure for the Florida Panthers... Yankees fans were throwing stuff on the field in mid April. MLB at bats get interrupted by the occasional idiot. This impacts the focus of the pitcher and the hitter. meh, its just a game. I think the NBA is making a mistake if they won't let their fans be a little spontaneous.

And they would throw you out if you threw something at their actors. nah, they let that stuff go. its part of the silliness of the event. as shown in the video i posted Andre The Giant was peppered with debris for more than 1 minute. WWE is a live event with audience proximity similar to the NBA. The NBA is also a live event. Perma-banning for such minor things is impossible to enforce and with a lot of people wearing masks facial recognition becomes difficult. I'd say the permaban due to the popcorn throwing comes off as an immature petulant NBA is taking itself too seriously.

so a guy shoves Lowry and gets into it with him and gets a few games? the popcorn throwing guys gets a life time ban? Russ is doing a great job of being "bad guy wrestler" the way he reacted.

But I would not want to encourage it either, it is not like people do not know that it unacceptable. I trouble feeling sorry for someone being idiotic losing their ability to go to the game. Businesses have the right to refuse business based on bad behavior, watching basketball is not some protected right. I honestly don't care what they do with the fan, but I do think they should fine and suspend any player that acts like its a big deal, and the same with any Skip Bayless, Steven A types white knighting for players. Its fucking popcorn, Westbrook's kids do worse to him every day. And verbal hecklers, come on, that's supposed to be part of the sport.

The Rat thing... was really wild.. and a lot of fun. Patrick Roy was asked if being showered by 1000 Rats after getting scored upon was frustrating.... he said "I was happy to live that experience ... once". Of course, Patrick Roy is a multiple Stanely Champ and a multiple Conn Smythe Trophy winner. He has the mental fortitude to deal with having crap thrown on him. That first goal scored on Roy in Florida in that finals was so fucking hilarious.... The Rat clean up was sponsored by Orchid Pest Control. So much fun. The NBA is taking itself too seriously.

If they are chanting about trae young balding that's fun stop stuff. Going straight to racist is a special pleading. Its not only incredibly rare, its not actually what gets the players QQing (hint it is the baldy stuff), and most of the time they make it up.
