Kobe's efficiency numbers are not that great compared to the top players. He just has way too many low FG% nights. It's pretty when it works but there's a lot of variance in it. Lebron's form might look artless, but he's actually had some seasons where his 3-pt FG% is at elite levels. If we're going to list the best 3-pt shooters of all time, I'm not going to penalize Reggie Miller for his fugly form. Lebron is like wing Shaq. Aesthetic value might not be there but it just works.

The dunker was a point on athleticism, which is one point in contention. Nut now that you mention it, I have actually seen them go 1 on 1 vs. each other, and guess what, Kobe murders lebron on offense and kills him on defense. So I take it back, i really dont think lebron is that much stronger or is able to use his strength efficiently, as the stat turds would say. Anyway, you're my man JC, so even if you think KG and Dirk are above Kobe, I wont argue any further with you. Lets agree to disagree for now.

Damn this would have been 100% best ASG ever, instead of being like 98% or so. All said, fuck enbid, Chuck was right, he is a soft crybaby who always wants the ref to save him, and he has bad hands with the ball. Fucker puts down the ball after rebound when he could just tip it right in. Wtf was that dumb play dipping the ball knowing full well it was down the wire and AD and Kawhi were around him. Today marks the day I become a true enbid hater. He wont win a championship as the team superstar, mark my words. One last thing, and let me do a jj-inspired spiel here, "Ive said it from the start as I knew even then what was gonna happen", but the addition of 24 is such a small number. These guys can score 60-80 ezpz pre quarter. I understand that this is a Kobe tribute, but I hope they make it +50 next year.

Its frankly embarrassing that Team Lebron didn't win 200-100. Giannis did a troll draft. Part 2: On February 17 2020 11:57 JimmiC wrote: Im a dirk fan so Im sure Im biased. But he is underrated, he changed what people thought 7 footers could do there was no one like him playing outside the paint, and being great. Now their are tons.. And he carried that Mavs team to the title. Dirk is a great, no doubt, but he is merely a beta version of what is to come, and that is because of his draft year 1998 being good for taking advantage of the 2004 rule changes. Part 3: On February 17 2020 10:39 Vindicare605 wrote: Agreed for most of it, but I can't put Lebron over Duncan or Shaq but that's with a strong recency bias. If someone wanted to put Bill Russel at third I totally understand why. I dont put Lebron over them, that is a tier that I really can't find much difference between. I think Duncan has accomplished the most hard things, Shaq was the most dominant for a short period, and Lebron has the title for "dominant longevity". Part 4: On February 17 2020 12:59 andrewlt wrote: My post-90s players are similar to clutz, 1. Jordan, 2. Lebron, 3. Duncan, 4. Shaq, 5. Pretty much agree, but I vacillate 2-4 all the time. Part of the problem is that there were explicit anti-Shaq/Duncan rulechanges in the middle of their careers, which were also pro-Lebron rule changes. Duncan being able to adapt to those has me consistently rating him above Shaq, but I still wonder on 2007, and if that would have just been a thing on repeat if Duncan had made the finals in his prime. Smart rim defenders are LBJ's kryptonite. Even dumb ones like Dwight Howard and Tyson Chandler have eaten him up in the playoffs.
