took over? i guess that is an ill defined term...any how...
he was playing ( usually the 5) with 3 or 4 guards who carried and moved the ball. He hit open 3s and he did some back door cuts.
Usually when he tried to dribble through any kind of traffic he turned the ball over. I counted 6 turnovers.
Its already on youtube. I don't call this "taking over a game." White blew by him seconds after Zion scored. Derozan went thru him @8:38. That's not "taking over". Anyhow, I call this hitting mile wide open 3s because Pop wants the Spurs to play way off of him.
He lumbers around like Shaq in the last 2 years of his career. He needs to lose weight if he wants to be more than 30 minutes a game in the NBA.

No way his injury had to do with his incredible explosiveness at his size and weight, got to be those darn landing mechanics. I look forward to you too being in lockstep again next year. Happy new years all.
Nah, the stuff we agree on is common knowledge easily available in the public domain. Its also covered here.
poor mechanics increase the risk of injury. hopefully, Zion improves his mechanics so he can minimize his risk of re-injury.
I've never been sadder to see a player I like do well. Monster streakbfor 17 straight by Zion Williamson and 0 dunks. The league is broken when Zion takes 3s
Dion Waiters has showed flashes of athletic brilliance and also flashes of total real life idiocy. If he is truly taking the bullet and not just doing a "ceremonial apology" then this is a good step forward in his career. He still has a big mountain to climb.. but this is step one.
If Jimmy Butler can get his ankle and knee 100% right. If Dion Waiters is willing to accept whatever role Spo gives him ... If Nunn can keep on improving ...
