It's not disheartening... It's being smart. Austrians went into the last Euros with tens of thousands (including coaches, players,...) betting us being a dark horse to win the tournament. What happened? We happened to be the only team not progressing from our group...

How is Mustafi even a professional footballer at this moment in time, holy smokes he makes City defenders look world class! Utter trash player, Arsenal need a new manager and fast.

How was mustafi worse than david luiz? Sheesh the chelsea bias

David Luiz and Mustafi are an extraordinary duo. They are both terrible in very different ways
Also Watford sacked their coach today, again. Poor bloke never had a chance

Because Mustafi makes the same mistakes week in week out no matter what is going on where David Luiz has actually played well multiple times for a complete season see his premier league wins or his heroics in Munich...Mustafi does not have this, thus makes Mustafi even worse, and he is, he is trash. Luiz is also trash, but he has performed at a very high level before even though that looks like a distant memory in an Arsenal kit.

Arsenal kind of felt second best today. Chambers was aweful as well. Pepe didn't even play... doesn't feel like this is the best lineup Arsenal has. I feel like there terrible backline forces them to play a more offensive style with Auba Pepe Lacazette as their front 3 and Özil as a Nr. 10 behind them.

I agree Infinity, that is what i would do if i was Arsenal manager to keep it being Arsenal. Just play 4-3-3 and go for it every game. That should generate some good attacking football play just need some good legs in midfield xD
If they want Allegri and completely change their style though they could be good, get 2 new CBs in and then make some tough decisions for players like Ozil and the Augamon vs Lacazette debate etc.

Jack Grealish just scored a stunner against Yanited! 1-0 Villa

Everton 1-0 up against Leicester, it's really starting to look like noone wants to fight Liverpool for the title this season.

It’s so weird, Emery played some weird lineups and Ljungberg comes in and plays an even weirder lineup. 4-4-2 diamond which nobody plays, started Mustafi, Willock, Chambers as RB and didn’t even bring Pepe on. I get he’s only been in the job 3 days but still super confusing imo.

Wild how we spent a fuckton of money on Pepe and he just chilled on the bench today

VERY good day for VAR today

Interesting times ahead. Silva's Everton actually played well today but they have Liverpool, Chelsea and Yanited to come next. Will he survive too?

Yeah i don't get that either, i wonder if he is too friendly with the "big players" in the squad to not drop them as i can imagine the playes he picked today like Mustafi, Xahaha etc are the ones with the "pull" in the squad etc.

Dunno, considering qualis I'd say our group looks easy It's not like Netherlands are dominating the scene lately. Also, last team in our group might be the key to 3 teams advancing.
