Unlikely. 1 and a half season into the future if he absolutely crushed Yuki? Perhaps If I was a betting man, I would wager that the second RB seat goes to Norris by the end of the season, despite both Perez and Norris having contracts out 2024. We know Horner has been drooling over him for a while now. The only wrench in this idea is that McLaren have suddenly found pace, so it just became a lot more likely Lando might consider staying for a little bit and see. Other than that, I genuinely don't see who could be a good fit for the second RB seat. Alonso maybe? Or maybe Leclerc has gotten fed up enough with Ferrari? God help us all if we ever get Charles and Max on the same team tho..

God help us all if we ever get Charles and Max on the same team tho.. There's probably an escape clause in Norris's contract for being 7th or worst in constructors(driver side), or bottom 15 in drivers (team side if car is good) or something like that, but with how fast the Mclaren has been the last 2 races, I don't see it happening. Charles leaving Ferrari would be cruel, but it's a team that just wears you down. Could see it in Seb, and Kimi just didn't care enough towards the end of his career. If Perez doesn't pull it together and start qualifying in the top 6 again, I can totally see him being an Alpha Tauri driver by the end of this year, if his contract doesn't get paid out altogether. He gets remembered for his 2021 shenanigans in the last race, but he really was only slightly faster than Gasly/Albon, and is having a pretty comparable slump. Whoever wins after the next 5-6 races between Yuki and Danny gets the second RB seat, and then Lawson gets the Alpha Tauri seat.

I am no fan of Alpine, but gotta feel for them. Bad launch by Lewis ![]() Piastri looks to be the real real deal though, dude's had an insane rookie season.

Talking about brilliance, Russel's overtake on Sainz there was masterclass. I've never seen someone take the karting line to avoid the dirty air of the car in front as they go for the overtake. Very clever

Hes the best rookie since Tsunoda imo Seems he got floor damage on lap 19 after hitting a curb or something, yeah. Also, agreed. I personally don't think any of the rookies have been especially spectacular this season, although Piastri certainly have picked it up in the last few races (And I'm not just talking about outright pace, as the car has gotten a lot better too, but also his pace compared to Lando). Logan is doing pretty pitiful, and the less said about Nyck the better

Rain is interesting as long as it isn't too bad. Hopefully it isn't.

Hopefully it doesn't cause problems for the race. The track is already fighting to avoid the chopping block as it is. Another cancel or even just long delays, and it's likely gone
