But hey the evidence of "Clearly offside" and Costa not actually insulting the referee despite no one really protesting this would surely convince me. But in this instance it was just too blatant obvious for the ref to ignore. And I keep on that one, at high speed it did look offside. Now some trash little asshole freezing a photo before the ball is kicked doesn't make it more convincing and doesn't change the fact that they didn't even want to check it, even when a lot of people thought it could have been. While we are at it, the same problem happen in the last PSG cup match. VAR was only for the more powerful. Nantes had an obvious penalty, the Nantes players complained yet the referee didn't even want to look at it. The other way around they didn't, they don't, even hesitate to check. Meanwhile: "Official: Copa America 2020 will be hosted in Colombia and Argentina" I think Faruko(?) ranted about this a while ago, but holy shit theres a lot of space between those two countries. Luckily it looks like it will almost be two separate tournaments with no inter country travel untill the playoffs, but that is still less than ideal. However it does feel very much like a CONMEBOL idea, so maybe thats the way it is meant to be. | ||
