He picked both Isco and Vasquez who aren't that physical yet seemed to set his team out with a solid back 4 then a 5 across that with Ronaldo alone up top. They forced Bayern outwide and wasted little energy in defending, Bayern still created many chances because Real defense is not that good lol but Bayern didn't take their chances and the very good chances they got, Navas actually made a save (or two).
I also saw a very tired Bayern by the end of the game which shouldn't have been either, they need a good rest this weekend in Bundesliga so they can really go hard in the next game which if they score first will make it interesting. However i can't see Real Madrid playing like they did this game, seems to be an "away performance" specifically and will control more of the ball at home and actually give Ronaldo service.
Real Madrid is playing this season better away than at home. Most of their terrible matches this season have been at home. So they should be careful.

But isn't that down to Zidane has rested players in the home games and it has bite him on the ass doing so? I mean forget the Juventus home game and most of the issues are at home in the league when he has rotated his squad ? That is what i thought anyway, if it is generally shite home form with his best 11 then ok xD

Naah they werent resting players as such, it was just a very bad spell that you cant have if you want to be a league winner. added with some unusual hiccups after they had returned to form.

Hoping the Gooners can win for Wenger

And if they do Wenger will announce he isn't leaving. Unless he wasn't given that option.

lol. 10 minutes of match and 1 player (Vrsaljko) and Simeone were sent off for Atleti.
Arsenal with many chances now, and Oblak is already saving the team.
|
Sigh, up a man and we throw away every chance Fuck Griezmann
|
Arsenal needs to win by at least two, otherwise I fully believe Atletico Madrid take the series
|
not bad not bad.. getting a goal against a locked down Atleti D.
|
Finally something good happens
|
man the amount of times this ball has skimmed 4 yards across Atleti's goal without anyone touching it... Arsenal you gotta get a stab at least one of those..
|
71% possession vs 10 and only 1-0, Arsenal should be doing a lot better
|
ehh should be is a strong statement, could be. Its not exactly easy breaking down teams like Atleti in bus park mode. Then again they have threatened more than teams tend to be able to do against Atleti in this mode. So yeah, im gonna go with could be.

Yeah, that makes sense, I'm just disappointed at the amount of chances that we've had and couldn't push through

Christ, Arsenal's going to lose 4-1 on aggregate aren't they
|
Honestly if I was Wenger, I would KMS. No defender at any level should be gifting that shit.
|
What a fitting goodbye for the players to Wenger in Emirates.
Easy and quiet game into an HORROR from the defense and draw a game they should be winning at least 2 or 3 to 0
a summary of Wenger Arsenal in the last 2-3 years.

Oblak is the greatest gk in the World.
Godlike save right now. Came a long way.
Never forget when he played a game that started with only 8 players. Only suffered the first goal in the second half.

Honestly as much as Wenger is a problem, he is a magician doing what he does every year with such shitty players overall.
No team wanting to win a league should have Monreal, Mustafi, Xhaka, Wilshere and Welbeck in their starting XI and few of them i would even argue not even at the bench
